WTB exhaust for GS
#2
If you aren't already aware, a good thing to understand going in to a search that didn't immediately become clear to me is that aside from cats, there aren't 430 specific parts; RWD 2006-2011 300/350/430 parts are the same. Also, we're almost 12 years out of last production, so the demand for certain parts is dropping so it shouldn't be a surprise to find availability dropping, so certain parts might no longer be available.
I did a secondary cat and resonator delete/replacement with an Invidia Midpipe and Rev9Power FlowMaxx 4" Axle-back System. If you end up interested in either of these, the midpipe is most searchable using the part number, HS06LGSMIP, and Rev9 by the description "Rev9 FlowMaxx 4" Tip Axleback Exhaust for GS300". The Rev9 was available from multiple ebay sellers.
My impressions are no doubt affected by the fact that I drove with holes in my exhaust for an embarrassingly long time until scheduled emissions inspection forced me to address it, but I don't find it excessively loud and I don't experience any resonant droning issues in my driving.
I had mine installed by a general repair shop that I use, and they didn't do a great job aligning the tips with the bumper and I didn't notice when I picked it up. That's an easily correctable issue.
