My upgrade cost me 15k to move from the GS to the LS500. I documented this 3 years ago on this site, but I paid 49k and change for the GS in Jan 2020 and they gave me 40k for it 7 weeks ago. Crazy. Had 25k miles. New one 27k.
The LS500 agree I think would do better with a tune . I think Tom's just puts it up 50HP and seems moderate. Mostly im in "Normal". When I put it in sport or Sport Plus its like a "Tune" but the shifts get "sticky" at times if you don't wind it out.
Im really more chill in this car as its big, comfy and the Levinson audio is really quite a treat.
Im mostly going to keep it stock as Im just not looking for more performance .
GS was a super car. Solid, reliable, and very well balanced.
