Why wouldn't the towbar work? It just bolts in between the body and the crash bar.
To be honest, I don't know. I've checked with manufacturers in the US, like U-haul and Reese. They don't have anything for the hybrid. I see products for the GS350 but I read somewhere on the forum that they had to redrill the holes on the hitch.

@signdetres had a hitch put on his GS for a UHaul Trailer. There's a post about it - it may be in the thread on "what did you do today". The rear deflector had to be modified slightly if I remember corrrectly.
Here's one of the posts - if you look up and down in this general area of the thread you should find his original post up above somewhere as well as folks discussing it. I was close - it was in the Atomic Silver Thread it seems....
Besides Yakima, anyone else using a roof top system? I have looked at Thule's website, but they don't have any compatible systems. I also looked into a class 1 hitch but nothing compatible with the GS450h. I don't want to get a trunk mounted system.
I have a Seasucker Talon. Suction cup mount to the roof, sets up and breaks down easily and is very strong. Give em a look!

I've seen this at my local bike store. I didn't really take a look at it since it said suction cup and figure it would be flimsy. But from the site, the reviews are really favorable. I'll definitely take a look at this. Thanks!

I didn't want one of those setups with the rails and all, I saw the cups and that they were the same as the heavy duty photo/film units which made me feel good. They drove a nascar at like 200mph with a bike on the roof to be extra about how strong they are. I was nervous my first drive for sure but after I mounted the cups I really tugged on them and they don't budge. Since the roof isnt solid, the bike wobbles a bit but its really locked on. Just clean the area of the car you're going to attach the cups to for the best hold. I've made several trips with it now and am really happy with it. And it looks cool.

would you consider Rhino-rack roof bars? try ringing Rhino stores for kit DK332 (pads and clamp kit). if you’re lucky enough to find one then you can easily buy the bars 2x VA118 and 4x RLKVA leg kit.
