Electrical Engineer. BSEE and MSEE.
Pretty sure there are a few of us on here.
I moved on from high tech and now in a leadership role in a healthcare system focusing on continuous improvement of quality, throughput, cost savings and patient experience.

You and anyone else?

Network Engineer CCNA/CCNP - (Account Team Sales Engineer). Walked and resigned 1 1/2 years ago from my $60 Billion dollar net worth Communications Corp. (Joined the Covid, I quit crowd).
Never been happier in my life! Spent 21years before that at AT&T. Early Retired Manager. Old job wants me back. I don't want them back. lol!

I do max 2-3 months contract projects every some currently. When finished take 3 or more months off before I take another. Just trying to get 2 Daughther on thier own out the house, because I love them both.

Awesome stuff! Totally relate to all of that especially the daughters piece.
My daughter is graduating in May and has already accepted a RN position starting in July.
She can stay with us as long as she wants.
I may do a few more years or maybe not. Still love what I do so it's really not like work.
Anyways not eligible for early SS for 3 1/2 years so that would be a good time cash in my chips.

On another note, got her up over a hundo from the on-ramp and was so smooth.

Nope was on a Commision National Account sales team. The money was good enough plus the salary. I hate classes and test. That test is hard as hell. Are you?

If I made it one of my goals I'm sure I could pass it, I think.

No I went for most of the P level Certs but it was a fun industry with Cisco Live events - even got a Cisco shirt for attending like 10 years in a row.

Have pivoted to something more in demand but still wear that hat from time to time !

You may find it somewhat amusing that I have had some eccentric interest in that field too; in particular with 3Φ switchgear, panelboard and power transformer design/layout for large industrial and commercial applications.

Also, you may find it somewhat interesting that I have had an interest, with some hands-on experience, in Class AB2 triode RF amplifier circuit design for radio frequency applications.

All, I might add, outside my primary profession...

Today is week 3 of ownership for me of a 2018 LS and can say you all were right and can say it is the best car I have ever owned. (Thanks @jgscott )
I love the ride that the Adjustable Height Air shocks provide and usually drive and park in in the lower setting. I have it customized to automatically rise when I enter or exit the vehicle for ease. To me, the ride is excellent even with RFTs, but the tires are new and riding on the factory air suspension option I'm sure helps a lot. It's true some people have complained of the ride comfort with the run flats compared with their previous LS models, but coming from the GS I don't share the same complaint so it is definitely relative.
The car drives and accelerates smoothly and is very powerful with its twin turbo. Don't feel the hunting of gears that some of the post 6 speed GS'ers complained of.
Similar to the GS, to drive spirited, use Sport and Sport+ modes, Drive in comfort mode for a luxury soft ride, Eco to save a few bucks on fuel and Normal with everything optimized. There is an additional mode that I use mostly called "Custom", where you can customize settings for Engine, Comfort and Climate.

The 28 way adjustable massage seats are a dream and such a pleasure to drive which was a key feature for me when buying. (Part of the Luxury package)
The Panoramic View Camera is essential for mitigating wheel curb rash while parking and clipping anything while pulling into or backing into a garage etc. and use it regularly as have it programmed to activate anytime driving below 6 mph.
The ML system with 2400 watts with 23 speakers makes you feel like you are rolling in a recording studio.
With LKA / LTA and Dynamic Cruise the car is literally driving itself with your hands lightly on the wheel keeping you centered in your lane.
The 24” HUD to me is an additional safety feature that helps keep your eyes on the road since everything necessary is displayed.
The cross traffic alert / pre-collision system with brake support has already saved my *** so can’t say enough about it.

This is certainly a viable transition from GS when you are looking to move on and up.

I recently activated remote start through Lexus App.
Next week, will be adding PPF to front bumper, hood, fenders and mirror housings.
Will also add trunk spoiler per @AJLex19 recommendation. Will post pic when on.

Ahhhhhh, nice write up. Yes the LS is the Lexus of Lexus. I'm eventually headed Genesis G70 myself, one day. LS is just to big for me right now.

Keep this in mind. You can control it with a phone app.
