Hi everyone, What do you want or did you get after Gs 4th gen?

What substitude do you have in mind , sedan based...
I will love to have something rust proof, and ultra reliable.

I wanted a 5GS. I was looking at replacing my 14 with a 20-22 GS. If they still had the lux package for 2020,I would have grabbed one right at the production end. Now....no idea at all.

Unfortunately 5th generation Gs doesnt exist....

i personally dont think there is a substitude,
its really tough choise, i will be very soon in the market for another car and i am really stuck.
Toyota lexus decided to Axe LS, so i doubt there will be future sedan cars.... only suv where they receive a lot of profit.

I really like the look and specs of the Genesis G70 and G80 but I don't think the reliability is enough for it to make sense for long-term ownership. The top-end TLX is a strong car with good handling and would be my top choice of current cars.

2018-2020 Pre-LCI BMW 530e M Sport.

Almost bought it last year but decided not to pull the trigger yet.

Sounds like an extended warranty kind of car.🫣

I have a slight bit of worry! The B48/B58 platform has been proved reliable though.

What do you think of Rlx hybrid guys from Acura?
Cheap to maintain,

Bmw are fine if they are under warranty but out of warranty repairs are astronomical....
at least in europe we are very close to the germany, few hours away.

Here are my wants (no particular order) that I will be following or reading up on in the future--who knows if any of these will be phased out in the next few years:

Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400 AWD
Acura TLX Type S PMC Edition
Lexus IS 500
Audi RS7 / RS6 Avant
BMW M5
MB E53 AMG
Audi S8

i have driven q50 ,tlx, is,
audi s8 is good choise, probably m5 as well, and e53 amg, if we are not counting the astronomical maintenance cost from all of these i like s8 , is is way lower yes its faster car due to the engine but same can be said for GS F.
Do you consider gs -f an upgrade?

I can't think of one sedan left in the segment that appeals to me, therefore I'd probably go in an entirely different direction. Maybe just a fun car. Something like a Supra or LC500.

True--the Germans will be more expensive to maintain. And yes, I would totally consider a GS F, but I have not seen many available with low miles; I've seen 1 or 2 with 70,000+ miles.

It'll be a Lexus. What, I do not know... but I'm not looking to downgrade after now finally having such a fantastic car.

The GS is rust proof and reliable. If you buy new and look after it.
