Default Wiring up 4-pin trailer lights to my GS

Hello everyone. So I bought a trailer from Tractor Supply and use it to haul around my dirt bike on weekends. I bough a trailer hitch from curt and it fit just between the bumper beam and the chassis of the car. I applied a hefty amount of blue thread-locker on those bolts and the threads on the chassis and bolted it right up. I did have to use my dremel to make 2 of the holes a little bit bigger so they would line up, but no biggie. Overall it was a good 15 minute install. Very easy and straight forward. With just my dirtbike and some tools loaded onto that trailer, the lexus actually does a pretty good job hauling that around. The trailer weighs 400lbs empty and the bike 250lbs, add about another 50lbs for tools and stuff, and you're looking at pulling 700lbs. Now granted, braking and accelerating take a little bit longer with the trailer than without (duhh), and the car does downshift a few a gears on the uphills, but other than that, its a piece of cake. I was using 87 octane (wtev) and noticed a slight increase in performance when using 93.

Now originally, I bought the trailer and only planned on towing my dirtbike on sundays to the local trails and tracks around my city. However I'm finding that I'm using it more and more and wanted to get a more stable solution (besides buying a truck...that'll come in the future). The biggest thing right now is wiring up the car to be able to connect to the trailer so I can operate the lights on the trailer for when I drive at night. Up until now, I just put the reflective red and white tape on the back of the trailer.

So I bought the 4-pin CURT trailer light kit from amazon
(

)
and am trying to figure out how to wire it up. I'm usually pretty good mechanically and with my hands, but I suck and get a little nervous when doing electrical stuff. I don't want to just pay someone to do it, I want to understand how to do it myself.
Has anyone wired this up before, or know where to start?

Wire up the brake wire to your brakes, indicator to each respective indicator and ground to a ground point.
I would use a knife to take back insulation and solder the trailer adaptor wire in and cover with tape.
