Default 2015 gs radio won't work, will AC work if radio is removed?

I have a 2015 GS 350. The radio isn't working and I'm going to send it to United radio for a repair vs taking it to the dealer. My question is when the radio unit is removed will my air conditioning work if I have it set where I want it prior to the removal? I live in Florida and my car is black so AC is a necessity.
Thanks

When you start the car it automatically starts from where it was last left off, I assume it would do the same when unplugged though I don't know whether they get their saved from it or not.

Just take your GS to local dealer.
The dealers have a head unit exchange program for only $500 including labour.
Your Pioneer head unit is exchanged for another Pioneer head unit.
You’ll save nothing DIY.

Are you sending it to United Radio that's in Ga? I have heard hit or miss about them nowadays. Also you are sending the Head unit? What if its the Amp?

Like pete says, better to do the Lexus exchange imo.

Wow OP that is an interesting question. Not sure anyone will have a solid answer for that one. I would guess that it would stay on because my AC doesn't reset to off, it turns back on when I start the car if I had it on before.

There's an exchange program for broken radios?

probably for the amp. Sound issues are usually problem with the amp not the head unit.

For $3000, I would probably do without the radio and throw a Bluetooth speaker in there somewhere and stream something if I feel like it. But I have a 2013 GSH, so paying $3K for a non vital part on possibly a $15 to $18k vehicle does not seem financially prudent. If it was mechanical which prevented the car from operating, then yes, by all means, financially prudent. But I guess we drive a Lexus and not a Toyota since we are not financially prudent people.

That's what I said and thought also. Junkyard and ebay time for a used amp.

To answer my own question, yes, the AC stayed where I had it set when the radio was removed.
