Default New GS Owner Here - Any Swift Springs Owners?

Hi Folks,

I just bought a pre-owned 2018 GS350 F-Sport AWD from my local Lexus dealer. So far, I am really enjoying this car. It is silky-smooth on the highway, and I get a much better feel for the road when handling turns versus my previous car (Infiniti Q50).

My days of car mods are long gone, however, there is one mod I am seriously considering--Springs. I have read and viewed the posts here regarding the popular options available for the GS: RSR, Tanabe & Swift. I am not looking for any major drop here. In fact, SUBTLE is exactly what I want. Given all the choices, Swift Swings is the only option that I feel will work for me given what I want.

I'd like to hear from current owners of Swift Springs. How do you like them? How long have they been on your car? Are they still on your car? Any issues or concerns of any kind?

Had them on my lux version since last dec. Drop is very subtle. Usual feedback is the rear tends to run a bit lower than the fronts but to me they look normal. Ride is a bit firmer than stock as i'm running 255/35/20, 275/35/20. Bodyroll near non-existence after having the Swifts. Make sure to loosen all the arm bolts before you fit in the new springs and re-tighten them back. Love the springs.

Is your GS an AWD or RWD? After some research, I see the AWD models sit 0.6" higher than the RWD models. I had also emailed Swift Springs and they advised their springs will fit AWD models. However, they mentioned they never tested an AWD model, so they cannot provide a figure on the amount of drop. I assume the added weight of an AWD model is in the front of the car? I wonder how much weight we are talking here? 100lbs? 200lbs? Also, when I look at front springs rates for Swift, vs. RSR Downs, the difference is 0.15 (5.0 for Swift vs. 5.15 for RSR). In addition, the RSR front spring rate of 5.15 is the same for both AWD and RWD models. The rear spring rate of the RSR Downs is what is different (AWD: 8.67 // RWD: 8.98). Shift's is 7.5. Tanabe's NF210 seems soft by comparison at 3.6 for the front, and 6.5 at the rear. Given all this, what are the stock spring rate for the AWD f-sport?? Is anyone using any of these springs on an AWD?

I now have the Swifts with new KYB struts with AVS. I had the Tanabe's. I sold them thinking the Swifts would be the same but better. I wish I had kept the Tanabe's. They are like the same imo, but the Tanabe's had a better comfort ride. Look here for pics and many opinions on them.

All GS AWD owners with lowering springs... Please post some pics of your car. I'd like to get an idea what the drop looks like. Please indicate year and what springs you have.

I did check the OEM parts sites and there is a physical difference between from struts of AWD and RWD models. However, the spring perch and distance to the top of the strut is the same on both, so any of the springs will work. I spoke with Swift and they even confirmed this. It's the lower portion of the strut that is a little different, and, could be why the AWD models sit a little higher. Given all this, I'm still considering Swift Springs since the drop will essentially give me a slightly lowered stance from the stock RWD models.
