Default 2021+ IS use the 4GS chassis? Other notes about 4GS platform also

Hello all, I was recently watching Kirk Kreifels (big fan), and I stumbled across a fascinating clip linked below

At 0:16, he states that the facelifted 2021 plus IS actually is on a different platform, that being of the 4GS. Albeit similar, the 2014-2020 IS chassis and 2013-2020 GS chassis are in fact different. Key being the width:

'14 IS 350 AWD- 71.3in without mirror '20 IS 350 AWD- 71.3in
'14 GS 350 AWD- 72.4in '20 GS 350 AWD- 72.4in

But also the fact that this specific year range of IS does NOT have aluminum suspension, but please someone correct me if I'm wrong here. Whereas, that same GS year range has aluminum suspension. What I find even more interesting is the fact that Motortrend tested skidpad results for these 2 cars differ in favor of the GS. The GS gets a 25.70 in the first 2013 test, and in some comparos gets as low as 25.40 including on a YouTube comparison against a CTS V-Sport. All tested GS's were F-Sport RWD's. The IS only manages a 26.00 second in AWD form, and gets a 26.30 in F-Sport RWD form. This discrepancy cannot be due to tires, and they might be using the same set in those comparison tests given the similarity between the cars. But these were tests run on different dates, so who knows it might just be due to human error or a change in their testing procedure between 2013-2014. All I'm trying to say here is I really believe that the IS chassis is really different from the GS, more so then one would presume, and that the 2021 is maybe using a shortened version of the GS chassis as Kirk said.

What really gets me is the 2021 IS has now aluminum suspension (just like 4GS), it was lengthened, and now is the exact same width as the 4GS!

'21 IS 350 AWD- 72.4in

What do you guys make of all this?

Here is the linked Motortrend video I was referring to:

At 3:41 time is 25.40 Meanwhile the IS-

At 2:56 time is 26.30 No mistake there has to be something different about the GS that makes its extra weight negligible in handling. Maybe just better balance and weight distribution?
