Winter tire size? - 2013' GS350 R18
Hello!
Recently purchased a 2013 GS350 that needs a new set of winter tires. I'm in a rural area in Southern Ontario - GTA (south of Barrie) and not sure what size winters to get. They came with 245/40ZR18 with no tread left. Looking at Michelin, Perlis, etc and am open to other options. Seems to be more available for 235/45 R18 at a slightly better price (trying not to break the bank!). What is the difference diving-wise and what would be better for someone living close to the Barrie snowbelt?
Thank you!

If you in an area where you will get snow, the AWD GS handles well with a good set of all season tires with a 235/45 spec. Take a look at Dunlop and Pirelli for better prices.
I have Dunlop Signature HP All Season tires 235/45 on my 18" OEM wheels and they've performed well in up to 8in of snow. My dad also has a GS and has the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus and those are not as grippy as the Dunlops but are very comfortable riding and handle well in snow too.
