I will say that due to the ride quality I REALLY had to watch my speed. 80 feels like 60, 100 feels like 80, etc.

Highly recommended.
If you even tried the P7 Plus III or the Advan Sport A/S Plus, you would see why some of us are saying the Michelins are over rated/priced and not actually the quietest, smoothest nor best handling.

Just had a set of P7 AS+3s installed, noticed freeway speed vibrations like what others said. Going to get them road force balanced.

Not a surprise. Have had Pirelli All Season P7 (not the 3's) on several other Lexus vehicles (ES350 & Current 17 GS350 AWD) and they were really smooth 98% of the time, but both cars needed them road force balanced to make them 100% "totally smooth" at all speeds. Must somehow be the way they manufacture them as I hadn't ever had to roadforce balance any other tire brand over many years. In any case, you'll really like those tires once they are road forced !!

That actually should have been done originally without having to go back to have it done.

I always have new tires Road Force Balanced by my local Discount Tire store and they are always perfect.

Correct. I even asked them that when I was there and they responded to just bring it back. Lazy asses.

Just curious why you bought the P7 vs the P Zero AS 3? I have been looking for a review between the two. I'm coming off the Contis DWS06 which got very loud at the end of thier short life (25k). I would assume the P7 would just be quieter and last longer?

Having had the Pirelli P7 AS Plus ll on my previous GS 350 I chose the Pirelli P7AS Plus 3 for another vehicle I own and I have been pleased with them on that vehicle, So, I decided to get a set for my GS 450h. I only have a few thousand miles on P7 AS Plus 3 tires on the GS 450h, but I'm liking them...

I think the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 'NCS Elect' tire was not introduced or even available until late summer of 2023. I bought the P7 AS Plus 3 tires for the GS 450h on 1/31/2024 - - I don't think the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 'NCS Elect' tire was even available at my local Discount Tire store then. If I had known they were a choice, I might have considered them.

The Pirelli P7AS Plus 3 is a very quiet tire. I'm a bit confused why Pirelli felt it was a good idea to introduce the P Zero Plus 3 'NCS Elect' tire. The former has a 70k mile warranty whereas the latter has a 50k mile warranty.

The Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 'NCS Elect' tire is tagged as a 'performance' tire, which I don't necessarily need on a Lexus GS 450h - and I rather doubt it's much of a 'performance' tire compared to some other available tires.

If you want a very good (Michelin or better type), smooth, quite, great in rain, longer lasting tire and less expensive, get the P7 A/S Plus 3. If you want a tire that is more performance oriented that is the same plus, get the Yokohama Advan Sport A/S+. The Yok handles excellent and impressive and is going to last longer than all the other performance tires.

The P Zero AS 3 just is a bit better than the former P Zeros which all wore out super fast. There is already comments from some that used it longer term that it in fact wore extremely fast still. It's labeled as a "Ultra High performance" tire.

The Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 'NCS Elect' tire was actually made for the carmaker LUCID.

The Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 'NCS Elect' tire has a treadwear rating of 560 - 600 with a 50,000 mile warranty.

The Pirelli P7AS Plus 3 tires that I have experience with has a treadwear rating of 700 - 740 with a 70,000 mile warranty.

I presume the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 'NCS Elect' tire's lower treadwear rating and mileage warranty was a necessary outcome for the 'performance' tire rating.

With a hardness/tread wear rating of 500-740, do you find that you can feel more "sharpness" after hitting bumps, even if the sidewalls are more flexible?

I've driven mother's cousin's 4GS in Paris with 96Y speed rating, and the Cinturato P7 Summers have nice soft 260 treadwear, but I can really feel the stiff carcass of the 96Y speed rating.
Your 94V will give you a beautiful ride.

I have an old 3ES with discontinued Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus tires with a hard 600 wear index, on juicy 205/65 R15 but only 94H speed rating to 210 kph metric, and despite the hard compound, the low speed rating with a flexible juicy sidewall still results in a very smooth and very quiet ride - though just me, but I am very sensitive, so I can still feel the harder compound being used!

Towards the end of tire life, all tread blocks become vertically thinner hence less absorbent and louder.

Are you using 235/45 R18 98Y with a UTQG wear rating of 560?
Tread wear rating of 560 will wear 5.6 times slower than tread wear rating of 100, hence a hard compound.
Worse is the 98Y 300 kph metric speed rating against comfort and quietness.
However, on the bright side, it should be very good at handling.
The harder compound is used to resist wear in cold weather.
The DWS06 is an ultra hi performance all season tire.

I'm confused about the above bold statement? The higher the number the longer it is rated to last. 560 should last much longer than a 100.
