Dang everybody is leaving the 4GS. Guess I'll have to come back!!! 
I'm using the same CarlinKit 5.0 in my RC and has been working solid lately. Just make sure to keep the firmware up to date and turn off location services if u have Alexa app. That can cause random cutouts in some area.
