Since I tend to be OCD on the cosmetic condition of my 18 GS I wonder how people here keep the condition of their seats to reduce wear and tear? Most people tend to flop in and out of their cars like it's an old tractor seat therefore making the seats look worn.
I keep a beach towel on the base and have to straighten it every time I get in and out. This reduces wear from the seems on my Levi's and I also try not to rub the bolsters upon entry and exit. I also clean and condition on a regular basis. Show your seats!
Condition of mine after almost 7 years.

I was looking around for a decent pic, I'll add one later. But let me say the Lux package is supposed to come with semi-analine upgrades blah blah. Truth is my light gray leather on my 2013 is in pretty bad shape, except for tears or rips. I recall deep cleaning and conditioning them with Lexol when I first got the car a couple months ago, the leather layer under the top coat was pretty obvious when wet with cleaner. Seems ok on the doors though.
My 2017 were in very good condition, only the drivers seat side bolster had a little wear but the rest were perfect. Just had them redone cuz I always wanted red.
