Likely you just have a battery problem and need a new battery.

That was my immediate thought but never had a battery die because of rain especially with the car parked. My wheel well covers came off recently & im thinking that might have something to do with it 🤦🏽‍♂️ Definitely at the top of my list when I get home tho. Thanks for replying

Wheel covers! You've got hubcaps? That is so cool!

What is your theory of thinking that your hubcaps coming off is what killed your battery?

No bro lmao not hubcaps. Wheel WELL covers. It covers wires under your hood above your wheels

So, why did your 'wheel covers' (a.k.a. fender liners) come off recently?

I think he meant the side engine covers.

Wheel covers ... engine covers - whatever kind of covers they are!

I'm just perplexed at trying to figure out why these mysterious covers were even removed, and how that killed his battery!

When I first got the car I guess it wasn’t all the way secure it just flew off one day going down the highway 😭😭 the other came off when a possum or whatever it was ran across the highway at night & took it with him 🤦🏽‍♂️

Huh, so you had your fender liner stolen by a possum that ran across the highway and snatched it right off the car, and that's what killed your battery...

How fast were you going when this possum ran across the highway and snatched your fender liner? Did the possum look like it was rabid?

Did you report this incident to your insurance provider or local law enforcement? What did they say?

How much time expired before the mental asylum people came to visit you?

This actually happened to one of my friends GS. Some how those plastic push pieces cracked or backed out that hold it in place. I see what your thinking. Those wires are there exposed from the wire harness. I still would start with the battery test as you said you were.

Yea, if no power anywhere then start making sure you have a good connection to the terminals. In prior cars, I've had a loss of all power from a loose, partially dirty positive battery terminal whenever enough current draw occured.

I'd worry about the two fuse boxes right around the wheel well area if you're rolling around without wheel well liners.

Do you have a multimeter? You'll need to start seeing what all is getting power.

@bishopg93 - I stopped at a garage sale today with lots of car stuff for sale and the man had a pet possum.

The man had a wheel liner for sale and it sure looked like it might fit a GS 350. I bet his pet possum ran across the highway and snatched your wheel liner and took off with it.

Then the possum played possum!
