My 2015 GS F Sport had remote start capability with the Lexus Enform app prior to the 3g being discontinued. However I have read that all 2015 models had remote start with the key fob. However I can't seem to get it to work. Any suggestions? Would the 3g being discontinued be the reason the app doesn't work? or is there a setting that I need to have reset. I do have the Lexus/Toyota tech stream software, so if its something that needs to be turned on that way, please advise. I tried looking yesterday with the software, but all options were set as "Enabled" so not sure if there is another work around. I have searched through all the threads already, and no one else has posted this issue.

The proper sequence to start the car is -Hit the lock button 3 times within a second and on the 3rd lock button hit, hold it for 3-4 seconds until the hazard lights flash. The engine will then start and run for approximately 10 minutes unless you open a door or hit the lock or unlock button on the key fob.
(Make sure all windows, doors, trunk, hood, sun roof are closed and you have at least a 1/4 tank of gas)
Test it up close to see that the lock button is working each time you hit it by observing the lights or audible sound from car in response to the lock button push.
This should work.
Good luck and let us know if it worked.

That sequence with the key fob works for me on my 2017, although it is definitely finicky. It’s like 50/50 whether I can actually get it to start from inside the building at work. I can see my car so I watch the hazards flash with each key press, but sometimes I can’t get it to start. Guessing the signal is not good enough.
I never had the app remote start feature.

Key fob remote start works. The key fob doesn’t use 3G. I never had or used the app, even before the cutoff date.
I bought the car used so I guess there’s a possibility a third party option was installed, but I doubt it.
