If it's just scuffed or worn leather then there are products/dyes that are easy to apply that will restore it. I used one on a previous car and it made the steering wheel look new again.

Perhaps you could post a picture to prompt some suggestions.

I'll get around to a picture. Someone else posted this and I can no longer find it:

Why don't you just look on ebay or someone where and get a replacement low miles in good condition instead? That's what I would do. I've seen them for only $100 give or take.

Is it risky to replace the steering wheel? Don't want to mess up anything.

Consider this?

I did mine, still hold up pretty well after 4 or 5 years.

Cool, thanks. The only issue is the item is no longer on eBay, as per the link (since its 10 years old).

I've used these in almost all of my previous cars, pretty good fit and quality if you don't mind putting in a little elbow grease. Pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

Here's a video of me installing it on my Type-S to show the gist of the install (don't follow my instructions, i have no idea what I'm doing).

Unrelated but this is triggering my ocd, any idea how this little chip in the plastic could be fixed without replacing the steering wheel?
