TMPS GS450h 4 Gen ( 2013 )
Hi guys, done alloys and replaced TMPS with after market one as old was rusted ( apparently bad choice) got the car , reseted TMPS , all good
After a few hours the light came back, reset did not helpt anymore
Got to one of my friend to se if they was registered, and they was not , we registered them but with no change
Funny moment when we checked tyre presure on tablet they was showing 1.6 / 1.7 while in real they was 2.4/ 2.5
so i recon just bad quality TMPS
The question is do the 4 gen need 433 mhz TMPS ??
And if yes can you let me know what brand to use as the dealer is asking 500£ ( plus work ) what is to much i think
Thanks

Go with Denso or OEM. Don't buy off eBay or Amazon. From thread, part appears to be Denso 5500105 which are 315 MHz.

I don't know what the Mhz is supposed to be. I know the new sensor needs to be programmed/cloned with the oem sensor’s serial #. The serial # is printed on the oem sensor - I think it’s a six or seven digit alphanumeric code. If the oem sensor has been discarded, a TPMS reader can retrieve the serial # from car computer. Or, if the oem sensor has some battery life, the TPMS code reader can read it from the sensor.

I followed the How To series on how to program TPMS sensors from a youtuber and I got mine fixed in less than 20 minutes. I used Autel sensors and I was able to bind them to the car pretty easily. I can't remember the youtuber's name but he has a lot of GS350 related videos that are very helpful. The Autel sensors are backwards compatible so they can do either 315 or 433MHz frequencies which is nice.
