Brand new heated clockspring had the Toyota part # on it

note the clock does light up during the day when lights are off.

You're right, you did mention the clock. I got confused since the clock was lighting up in your video, but maybe that is from before everything went fully south.
By chance you wouldn't happen to have Stop start? In the case of having stop start, both the clock and mouse are illuminated separately from the other items. They share the same ground, just the green illumination wire comes from the Start stop ECU.

If you want to give it a try, you could try probing what was mentioned in post 8 at least for the remote lights. All the illumination circuit should be in parallel. You can measure voltage and continuity to make sure what's going into the remote is the same as what's going into the other illumination. Takes maybe 30 mins to do. But I don't know your comfort level with a meter.
The purpose of this, really, is just to rule out some loose ground or power connection using a known working component in the same circuit. If the remote illumination pins behave the same as the combination switch illumination pins, then the problem is elsewhere. At that point you could consider taking it in to the dealership.
If you'd rather work with the clock (it might be easier to access), I can try to find the pins for that. The console just gives you the most access since multiple items are on that green wire/white wire illumination circuit.

Reviewing this thread issue has NOT been solved
going to check the wires as prev suggested , also going to try a diff headunit see if that changes anything
sorry for the lack of response in the thread had some family stuff going on

Bump
Any insight is greatly appreciated/ welcomed basically at night time the head unit, clock and mouse buttons and completely dark no light at all when the headlights switch on if the headlight switch is off th clock comes on again and the radio will at least show the numbers for the temp then, it seems as if it's an issue with the headlight switch ? If that's possible
Car has a new oem clock spring replaced mpx body, checked dome fuses, not sure if any other fuses go through there. Thanks guys.
