Default Tire Fitment

Have a 2017 GS350 RWD Luxury package. Currently have the 19 inch luxury wheels with 235/40R19 Michelin Primacy MXM4's (squared setup). Going to need new tires in the next 5k miles, looking at swapping to Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 245/40R19 (and staying squared). Any issues with rubbing/sizing?

Thanks!

There have been some reports of 245/40R19s on OEM wheels rubbing the inner fender liner at full lock at stock height.

I have a 2013 F Sport with the staggered 19s. I am running 245/40/19 front and 275/35/19 with stock height and no rubbing issues whatsoever.

Which forged wheels? They may be lower offset than your factory wheels.

Here are some members confirming their positive experience with upsizing to 245 width on Pilot Sport All Season tires over the years:

I had the 16+ GS350 F Sport wheels with Yokohama 245/40/19 Front tires. I now run a RC F wheels with the same Yokohama 245/40/19 Fronts, and 285/35/19 Rears with the Swift springs drop. I have never had any rubbing with either setup using the 245/40/19 Tires. I also ran the Pirelli P7 A/S + II's in 245/40/19 and had no rubbing.

haven't mounted them on the tires and car yet. but i'm currently on 245/40/19 winter tires with oem g37 enkei wheels (19x9 +45) and no rubbing at full lock. i'm still on stock suspension though, so no idea if i'd rub on rsr down springs. From my research they shouldn't, so i was surprised to hear that I would with those specs.

Looks great man! Love the splitter/lip too. I'm just in between 245/40R19's or 245/35R19's.

Yeah, same. My thinking for going for a 40 sidewall was to hopefully make the eventual drop to rsr springs more of a comfortable ride.

Makes sense. I'm not planning on lowering my car, with that in mind do you think a 35 sidewall would be better in any regard?
