Buying my first Lexus. Care to help me find a clean GS?

Its also hard to find an F-Sport with that color interior - a refreshed F-sport GS in Ultra white on Flaxen with AWD and low miles (22kmiles?!) is a rare find.

Looks like its only been at the dealership for a few days so they may not budge too much. It's actually priced well considering the mileage and options. I think a starting offer of $28,500 and possibly lower if it needs reconditioning (exterior/interior cleaning, wheels, tires, brakes, rotors, wiper blades, oil change, battery).

That car looks so clean.
I ran the car's vin through Car Fax and it's definitely a fair price.
Car fax is coming up between $30.4K for good condition and $31.5K for excellent condition.
Judging by those seats looking like no one ever sat in them I would say this is closer to excellent.

My guess is yes, because the dealership will give you a warranty as well.
These cars are very reliable near bulletproof and this one comes with an excellent CarFax.
I ran my GS to 150K miles before I sold it and can't remember having an issue.
You will also be able to buy an extended warranty if you want more peace of mind.
If I was in the market for a GS Fsport I would be very happy with this.

However, it may be difficult to get the BMW dealership staff to take it for a PPI at Lexus for you. I think they would warm up to that idea if you left a (refundable) deposit showing seriousness, letting them know you're far away and need an assist - you're only comfy to continue the purchase if the PPI checks out.
Not sure how many people are inquiring about a $30k, 8yr old Lexus at a BMW dealership. You could also chance it and see if it gets stuck on their lot for some time which would force them to drop the price to help it sell...but that's also risky since you seem interested and the car is well spec'd w/low mileage. For me, i'd drive the 3hrs myself and take a look - make a road trip of it! There are folks on this very forum that would never spend any extra time (PPI, negotiations, etc.) without first seeing it for themself.

Me I would walk. Miles are low but, one with 30k - 40kish would be much lower. Plus nothing special about that one to me. No Mark L system, No HUD, No Triple Beams. I keep shopping. Plus cars sales are way down right now. I'd find one with more equipment, with a lower price.
I would look out further and be patience. Even if they came down to $28,900, I pass, still got to add the $$464 plus $TT&T. Buy's basically a Base Model F Sport is all. If that F Sport's Brakes just barley pass the measure you're looking at $1k plus in Brakes and Rotors real soon also. 21k miles is likely the original Brakes. Drive out on that one would be like $34k - $35k, with No warranty, for a Base F Sport.
If I found would one Loaded up, ex. - 2016 Lux or F Sport, w/ ML, HUD, Triple Beams, Rear Steering (IDK on AWD?), with lets say 47k, around the $29,700 I can justify I have something special. There are new Used car's coming every week

but to your point when all is said and done that’s a lot of cash for a 10 year old car.

I think you will find one at a small used car Dealer much better priced. Look at all the cars piling up at all the car Dealers now, they have to move them. Look out further. I took 30 days to find my GS350 Lux about 5+ years ago. Made the Deal pending. Flew to Huston Texas from Atlanta. Drove it back home, 12 hours. Total cost to get back was about $350, plus being tired. lol! Added a extended service Contract with my Credit Union. I'm still covered till 2026 and 125k miles. Got 64k on it now.
Also come to think of it you can buy the aftermarket LED Triple beams now for less that $1k. The ML system is very nice to have. I never buy a Lexus without it.
