Here's a high mileage thread from a few years back - many 13-15 pre refresh GS's with over 100k miles: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...4th-gen-p.html

I have 71k miles on my '13 AWD - besides standard maintenance like oil changes, tires and brakes, i've had the ac condensor fail, a/c o-ring fail, broken clock (all in the last 3yrs). Within the first 5years of owning, i only had to change a bad serpentine belt and sunroof weatherseal.

I have 92K miles on my '13 AWD F-sport. I've had to change out two struts, one CV Boot and the moonroof seal. Other than that, only regular oil changes, tires and brake pads once. Knock on wood.

119k on AWD Lux.
I would expect easily double out of it. Good bones.

226K kms
Two wheel bearings had to be changed.
Outside of that, regular maintenance only. Time for a 2nd transmission oil change.
Slight oil consumption exists. Switched from 0W-20 to 5W-30.
Only complaint, I wish it had a more snappy gearbox. Or offered a manual

Same at 116k. It shows no signs of aging, and all of the fluids I have replaced could have gone longer without issue.

Electronics, hoses, connectors, covers, seals all look great. Original shocks still going strong.

AWD Lux is a fantastic collection of features too: fancy seats and turning headlights are so good.

I will also point out that for me it was between this car and an Audi S5, about the same price, mileage, exterior condition, etc. Me, not knowing German cars near as well as American and Japanese ones, I had the S5 thoroughly inspected by a Euro tech (for like $150), he ended up with a rap sheet of repairs thousands of dollars deep and random mystery codes about all sorts of issues (car drove 100% fine), stupid things like trunk lighting wiring circuit high, for example. Comparatively, I did an inspection on the GS before and found zero issues except for a sunroof seal, and glitchy TPMS. Sometimes it boggles the mind that Euro cars like that are even worth anything after 10 years. The Lexus will wear much better! So would a Toyota Avalon, btw!

How do you perform the transmission oil service? Yourself?

NOT with passengers (kids) in the rear seats. They complained about the lack of space the whole time lol. Lux options in the rear on the GS got them quiet pretty quickly.

BTW if you haven't seen this already,

It was videos like this (and my prior ownership of several Toyotas) that got me interested in the GS.

13 F-Sport with 123k miles, got the clock spring replaced under warranty and had to replace the headlights. Other than that normal maintenance; tires, batteries, brakes, oil change every 10k miles with Mobil 1 0W-20. Starts right up and drives like a dream every morning.

13 F-Sport rwd with rear steer; ~130k, only regular maintenance (oil change every 5k miles). The car still drives incredibly smooth and strong. Interior still looks new.
