I don't think it's about him changing cars. I think he is feeling some type of way about CL. A few years ago he had some issues posting in the CL Covid 19 thread. He left then, and did not post back on CL for a very long time. He tried to pm me yesterday, but my inbox was full, but I don't know if it was friendly or not? We actually pm some over the years, and were kinda friends in spite of what others think. That's why I did not like the post in another thread that said we were dysfunctional. We kinda agree to disagree mutually. In fact the poster that called us dysfunctional from HI. Both BC and myself had pm'd each other in concern for that poster during the devastating fire in HI. We were hoping he was ok because we knew he was in HI and had not heard from him a day after that fire.
BC takes shots at me about some things like meds that I shared with him, being I had Tommy John surgery on my elbow. Hope he does not mind me saying but, he had similar arm/elbow surgery due to Golf. He advised me how long the recovery was, and it helped me deal with it better some, and I thank him for that. Even though with me, I know he can go left in a min, I do think his support here overall was a good thing for the 4th Gen. His Knowledge was.... almost as good as mine.
Nunz, sorry I have missed your phone calls. Taking some online update class courses. Give me call back! Just though I would FYI: everyone about what I think this "So long everybody..." post thread was about.

BC offered a lot, but his know-it-all attitude soured me, and others I suspect. I wish him well wherever he lands.

Well guys, it looks like y'all are stuck with me for a while longer! Maybe a lot longer...
I had been eyeing a 2023 Audi S7 Prestige in Silver Metallic with Black interior. I really like the Audi S twin-turbo engine and the interior is really nice and the technology is super, but that Audi silver exterior just doesn't have the same bright shiny liquid silver look the Lexus Liquid Platinum has that I love so much on the two Lexus GSs I've had in Liquid Platinum with black interior.
So, on Thursday (6/20) I made up my mind to just order a new Audi S7 Prestige in Glacier White, because I like a white car as long as it's a bright white-white. That's when I posted my 'So long' to driving a Lexus.
But while I was at the Audi dealership I started looking around at some Audi models in their new and pre-owned inventory and I just did not care for black interior with a white exterior. It was not to my liking at all - and I realized quickly it would be a big mistake if I ordered that color combo.
Then, I thought maybe a Glacier White exterior with a saddle or tobacco color interior would look good, but there was no S7 Prestige available anywhere in the system and ordering one takes at least 5-6 months I was told, so I decided to just do nothing... So, here I am and I'll be keeping my '18 GS 450h and I'll continue to post about Lexus stuff here on Club Lexus.
Oh, Charley95 and JeffKeryk - Sorry I don't meet your approval for social media netiquette and niceties! To be sure, no one can please everyone!
I'll betcha we'd enjoy one another's company over a cold beer!

@praetor - Thanks, bro! I guess the Audi was just not meant to be. I have to admit the Audi's reliability compared to Lexus was on my mind.

I did look at an S7 prior to purchasing my GS350. I'm so glad I went with the Lexus. My sister-in-law bought a new 2016 Audi Q5 and things really went downhill after the warrant expired. It ate oil, brakes always had issues, lights would always come on and had to go to the dealer. She got rid of it and only got $12K trade-in after 6 years. It was a great car but wow was it high maintenance.
When I was at the Audi dealership there was a husband and wife with an almost new SQ5 talking with a service advisor where he reminded the guy his wife's SQ5 had been in the Audi dealer's shop multiple times but they never could solve the problem, and it was back once again. I have no clue what the problem was about, but the husband was clearly frustrated. You could almost read on the husband's face that he didn't want to own that car any longer. I felt sorry for them. I guess it can happen with any car brand. The closest experience like that I've had was with BMW.
