@PA2017 - Hopefully you have an Owners Manual.
Also, there are some LPS (Lexus Personalized Settings), many of which can be set by the owner - things like when the door locks, lights, rear shade, feedback tone, headlamps lights off timer, interior lights off timer, Driver’s Seat Easy Exit, etc.

@PA2017 - Congrats! I think you'll really enjoy it.
How about the tires - do they need replacing soon? How about the minor paint scuffs we were told about?
Let us know how you're liking it!

Tires are at 5/32 of an inch all the way around. Will consider new tires when the rain shows up but for now, they are perfect for what I need them to do.
Overall, I am incredibly happy with the GS.

Customizing settings
Hey all,
Loving the 2013 GS 350 so far. Haven't been able to drive it much due to a lot of call shifts recently, but I am really enjoying it.
Question for @bclexus and anyone else who may have thoughts.
What settings would you adjust for the vehicle to personalize it?
For example, I noticed when I get in the car and buckle the seatbelt, the seat and steering wheel adjust a bit. Not sure if that is a setting, but I like it and will look into it. When I put the car in reverse, the driver side rear view mirror points downward, the passenger side does not...might see if I can adjust that, nice feature to see the lines on the parking spot.
I have a lot of reading to do with the stack of owner manuals (looking forward to it actually, I like this stuff), but was looking for any overlooked tidbits that might be worth checking from your ownership perspectives for personalizing the settings.

These are the settings I recommend.
Note: As I selected - I don't like my headlights to remain On for any period of time after I turn the car Off and open the driver side door. It helps save the battery...
Note: As I selected - When gripping the driver door handle I prefer it unlock 'all' doors (makes it easier when you have passengers...

Here is how the Side Mirrors are set when reversing (Note that setting each side mirror (L&R) is done when the car is in Reverse gear) :

You can also change the number of blinks (flashes) for the lane change feature - 3 blinks is the default number, but some people feel that 5 blinks is a sweet spot number.
Here is how you can change it - it's a little tricky but if you follow the directions you'll accomplish it in one try - or maybe two tries!
►Print this out to make it easier to follow ◄
Pay particular attention to what I have underlined
1. Start with the car completely off
2. Use the rotary **** on the wiper control to set how many blinks you want. This **** has four positions:
- 1st (bottom) position = 3 blinks
- 2nd position = 5 blinks
- 3rd position = 7 blinks
- 4th (top) position = no automatic blinks
3. Hold the wiper lever in the all-the-way-up position, and keep holding it there
4. With foot OFF brake pedal, press the start button twice so the gauges light up (keep holding that wiper lever up!)
5. Continue to hold the wiper lever all the way up for 5 seconds or more (if you go too fast you will have to start all over!)
6. Let the wiper lever come down only one position and hold it there for 5+ seconds (do NOT let it go back to the middle, just let it come down one position)
7. Hold with wiper lever all the way up again for another 5+ seconds
8. Let with wiper lever come down only one position again, and hold it for 5+ seconds
9. Let go of the wiper lever. The right turn signal should flash once. If it doesn't, turn the car off and start again at step 1.
10. Briefly move the turn signal lever down 1 position and let go of it again.
The left turn signal should flash to confirm your setting, but not in the way you might expect. It will blink 1, 2, 3, or 4 times to match where you set the rotary **** on the wiper control, so:
- 1 flash = set for 3 blinks (Default)
- 2 flashes = set for 5 blinks (Most people like 5 blinks)
- 3 flashes = set for 7 blinks
- 4 flashes = no auto blinks

A Carista OBD Plug-in Adapter and the Carista App is available from Carista ($40 for the OBD adapter) that will allow you to change/customize other things (including lane change blinks) like the blinker volume, etc.
