Default Has anyone actually run their GS - 4th Gen on a race track?

I have an opportunity to take my bone stock 2015 F-Sport AWD with 64K miles to a High Performance Driver's Education day on a race track. I've done similar manufacturer-sponsored events with allegedly stock BMW's and Porsches but never with my own car.

Besides this very cool post https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...0-f-sport.html , Has anyone else tracked their GS? I'm up-to-date with dealer maintenance and inspections, but I am more concerned about the car's actual durability under this kind of driving.

I'm afraid about the car's mechanicals overheating, or generally falling to pieces. Other than refreshing the brake pads before the event, I don't have any other prep in mind. My car has Pirelli Cinturato P7 AS+3's with about 10K miles on them.

You should be fine, a few people I know or have seen on the web have taken the 350s in stock form and had no issue driving there, tracking and then driving home.
