Anyone else ever spotted a leak near a headlight washer when topping off their washer fluid reservoir? Truth be told I’ve never noticed one before but also never looked for it. Wondering if I had a leak somewhere or it was just a little overflow. Inside that area isn’t the most accessible.
I suspect the leak is probably due to a split in the AWD's headlight washer fluid reservoir tank or a split in a fluid hose/tube or a split/broken hose fitting - likely happened from sub-freezing temperature that froze the washer water that lacked enough antifreeze concentrate for your extreme cold climate.
Some brands of wiper fluids have a low concentration of antifreeze, making them more susceptible to freezing in extreme cold. Oftentimes, service centers will just use plain water to re-fill the washer fluid reservoir...
