I wasn't totally clear on my last comment. I meant the memory seat and key system work correctly but the personalized setting for full-partial-off still does not work correctly. It's still as described in the 11th comment.

Get into the driver's seat and start the car and look at your instrument cluster to see if the red warning light for the driver's seat belt illuminates - if the red warning light is not On it's because the driver's seat belt buckle is latched. This disables the Easy Exit feature.

When you access LPS to set the 'Partial' Easy Exist feature - even though Easy Exit is not related to seat memory - be sure to SAVE the setting to a Seat Memory, either 1, 2 or 3 - just 'because'.

Let me know...

I've read about the seat belt latch somewhere else and that isn't what's causing my issue. And I've saved the seat memory after setting the LPS feature. Still have the same issue.

You are testing the LPS 'Easy Exit' saved setting results by placing the car in Park and with the ignition turned Off, right?

Let's do the following:

(1) Try to put the seat in a higher or a lower position and make the LPS 'Easy Exit' setting - see if it makes any difference in it working. If not, move to Procedure #2 below... (Note: The seat's limit sensors may prevent the 'Easy Exit' feature to work if the seat is at or near its maximum travel limit.)

(2) Turn the car On and in Park; Move seat fully forward and hold Lever Control for 10 seconds - Move seat full back and hold Lever Control for ten seconds. Do same for seat tilt back - - now set the seat position you desire to use when driving - it must be a position somewhere between extreme travel limits, including higher/lower - and then Press Set and #1 for 3 full seconds. Now, open the driver's door and exit the car, and lock the car by using only your key fob. Wait at least three minutes and unlock the car (unlock only by using your key fob). Start the car and Press Seat Memory #1. The seat should now move to the correct memory selected position.
(Note: If you move the seat from the memory set position the seat will tend to auto-remember its last position.)

Test the Easy Exit 'Partial' setting feature you have previously set to see if it works. If not (after having done the above procedure) get back into the car and set LPS Easy Exit 'Partial' setting once again. Retest again...

When testing - do so by first buckling the seatbelt and un-buckling the seatbelt to exit the car.

Just tried it while following your directions and it's a no go. I'm thinking I have a bad module. Just don't know which one it is.

I hope it's not the Power Seat Control Module

If you do the following, it should initialize the power seat module. It should also clear your memory settings. At least it did when @Wanitive did the procedure.

With the engine switch in ON, click the button in red 3 times. Then within 10 seconds, hold the two buttons in blue in the direction shown. After 10 seconds, you'll hear a short beep, and that should tell you the power seat module is initialized. Your memory settings for the seat should be cleared as well, but I don't remember if the Partial or Full had to be reset or if it just "picked them up" again.

@fedcrom - I hope what EAST posted (directly above) will reset/re-initialize the module for your Easy Exit feature.

But since you want to know where the module and the ECU are located - I
hesitate to post all these screen shots (with the testing procedure), but maybe it will help you...if EAST's directions don't take care of fixing it...

@fedcrom - Here is the information on just the Seat Position Control Module:

2013-2020 Lexus GS350 Driver Left Seat Position Control ECU Assembly P/N 89710-30160

► FYI: A sound working 'Seat Position Control Module' should be able to be re-initialized by performing an outboard process procedure. This would typically be done by performing a series of inputs by using the seat's control buttons to enter the inputs, which would re-initialize and reset the module to the default condition whereby the seat can be programmed per the Owners Manual.

Here is a picture (below) of the Seat Position Control ECU Assembly underneath the seat, so you can get an idea of where it is located if you replace it.

2013-2020 Lexus GS350 Multiplex Network Body ECU: P/N 89221-30400 (for 2013-2015) or P/N 89221-30332 (for 2013)

► This Main Body ECU (Multiplex Network Body ECU) is in the LH side of the dash and it is not at all easy to access (info on its location is below at end of this post.)...

@EAST - For fedcrom's sake I sure hope this outboard seat button series procedure is able to re-initialize the Seat Position Control ECU Assembly located underneath the seat to a 'like new' default condition. Then, @fedcrom can program the driver seat per the Owners Manual and the LPS setting to get his 'Easy Exit' feature back working again.

I performed the re-initialize seat procedure and got the beep confirming it was completed. Then I calibrated the positions, set the memory location and tried to set the partial easy exit. It did not work. Now I have the car sitting with the battery disconnected over night. I won't get back to it until late evening.

I don't get it, I had the battery disconnected for 24 hours, and nothing reset. Didn't lose any memory seat settings or radio stations.
