interesting.
if they introduce the GS concept as a hybrid, that would be smart..... especially if they can show one with adequate trunk space.
that would trump the infiniti M hybrid, and steal whatever little thunder the Mh had.

^^ the last two vehicles were built on a budget, being low priced entry level vehicle hybrids. The GS and GSh has a much higher price premium. Im sure it will be fine

battery technology, that's all they need to make the packaging smaller. Hopefully it has some 20 inch wheels and a lower profile roofline, intelligent spacing should help for that. Come on Lexus, show us what you got.

I really hope that you are wrong. Lexus absolutely CAN NOT afford to pump out a mediocre next generation GS. Too many good products in this segment and with all these crazy stuff going on at Toyota, they absolutely have to blow away everything in its segment.

No confirmation, just all rumors, speculations and the general direction Lexus is heading.
They made the ISF, LS-Sport, bunch of various F-sport edition cars, LFA.......so Lexus definitely likes to expand the F product range and they have been talking about a GS-F for a long time. It make sense and looks like it will happen.
The LS is not a sporty car, so it make sense that they don't make a LS-F, just like there is no M7, the GS is sporty though, so I am betting they will release a GS-F.

Is like hello, it came out 4 years ago and is only 20 hp less. And I don't even have to drive it to know it won't have the refinement of the GSh.

What I am trully hoping for is Li-ion batteries at last. In this class of vehicle it must be a standard battery. Its good for efficency of space, packaging, sportiness and fuel economy.

I think Li-ion batteries is still VERY expensive, they can't include it in a $50k~$60k mid size full luxury sedan yet. So far, you only find Li-ion batteries in the $41k Volt econobox and those ultra expensive Tesla's vehicles, the Roadster is $120k~$160k, the S sedan will be $60k~$80k and I think it will come with less luxury then the Mh and GSh.
