now we know for sure lexus is going after bmw. it's nice for lexus to finally catch up on the tech front.

the new interior does give off a bmw vibe.

its probably cause most people that leave a Lexus usually go for the BMW or MB, which is why they looked more at those cars I'm guessing.

The BMW interior is the benchmark in this class - especially if you order the nappa extended leather.

Not exactly. I am saying that for someone who has just looked at both of these cars side on for the first time: Which is the premium Lexus and which is the imitator Hyundai?

They both look indistinctive and generic to me. They seem to be both borrowing ideas from elsewhere.

The concept is a non concept. It's an oxymoron. It has nothing unique about it at all apart from being weird.

it's distinctly indistinct. that's the lexus way.
you can say that this concept is in line with what lexus has been putting out for the last 6 years.

you can't really see much unless you put it under a microscope.

for example, that character line running from the front wheel arch to the tail light is barely visible. so, from a distance, the side profile looks quite bland.

on the other hand, the lines from a bmw z4 and CLS are a bit too much for a car like this.

But what would you call this? I'd say it's distinct and very unique. I'd say it looks the way a Lexus should. It is clean, simple, functional yet stylish. To me it's perfectly formed, I can't think of anything to change. None of this nonsense taking contradictory elements, trying to make them work together and then being surprised when you don't pull it off. This is an incredible basis for any size stylish sedan. And do you know which two cars actually look like this now? Jaguar XF & XJ.

Put the LF-Gh interior in there and I would buy it tomorrow (so long as it drove the way it looks like it should and didn't rattle). I would even say, if you want an IS, then shrink it and if you want an LS, grow it.

Am I the only one seeing this!!!!

This is the concept upon which future Lexi will be based.

I give it a 4 out of 10, mainly for the interior. The interior is a bold statement that works. The exterior is not.
