I think the last spy shots I saw had the side mirror mounted into the corner of the windowline on the A pillar, instead of on the door (thank god). Anyone care to make that update to the rendering?

More like a medium between the two but the panel in the middle is body colored like the rendering dunnojack did

Unfortunately no, there was no info on powertrains just yet. They only sent the dealer pictures.

Hoovey, do you know about any of the new features/Lexus innovations that are supposed to woo us?

I really wished they would've kept the new sleek door handles and side view cameras.

i would guess hybrid is going to be there too... since they somehow solved the trunk issue on Camry Hybrid, i bet GS Hybrid will become a lot more popular.

Detuned to 420hp? The current IS-F makes 416hp doesn't it?

i have no idea, but japanese specs show 15.5cuft instead of 10 from the last generation :-)

Who to believe

? According to various people who have seen the 2012 GS, there will either be a V8 or won't be, the hybrid will either have more power or it will be geared for fuel economy, and the GSF comes either 1 year after the regular GS, or 2-3 years. Also the GS debuts either with the same V6 and 6-speed auto, or updated V6 and updated tranny.

Lots of people are anxious for official info and pics.

Interesting if true about the ES. Sounds like it will be a BIG step up compared to the current ES and even the new Camry.

It would be sad though if Lexus did with the 4GS what they did with the 3GS, launching with dated engines then quickly updating then in the 2nd model year.
