Yeah if that story is true it pretty much confirms that the 650hp LS TMG is indeed housing a 5.0L TT V8 , and is most likely going to be used in upcoming production vehicles. The fact that Lexus has been so eager to take those discussion threads offline pretty much confirms it.

I really do not want to see turbos in Lexuses, they are not very reliable.

90s Toyota turbo'd engines would disagree with that

Can't find the link...I believe it was mentioned somewhere here on CL. Searched and couldn't put my hands on it.

I'll keep my eyes peeled.

But I guarantee all these high tech German turbos everyone is lusting after will. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near one 3 years down the line.

I have a hard time believing that TMG edition LS making 650hp was turbo'd. It may've been, but the specs of the engine are basically the IS-F's engine allowed to rev 3k more rpm. I wonder if it's more to it than turbos, maybe a SUPER HYBRID? Would explain the amount of torque as well as the increased weight. If that's the case, perhaps there is more to be had from the new GS HYBRID? Just a thought.

Is it just me, or does the back of the mule look like the trunk is not quite as long? That was my biggest problem with the concept, but the mule 4GS looks a lot closer to what I was hoping for. We may have a winner here folks!

Well it definitely doesn't have "flush" door handles...according to the test mule...

Is this car going to have that awful mouse to use for input and I wonder what the sliver dial will control?

I'm not sure if its because of the leather but the trunk on the product/mule looks a bit odd to me...almost like its too "short".

Compare it to the 3GS. It's got similar proportions. If that's how the production car is, it will look stunning.
