From these pictures it doesn't look like it's a part of the headlight
Take a closer look. What do you think?

And to comment on your gap concern I think there will be 20' wheels option either as accessory or on GS-F.

From the pic above you can see some of the orange in the headlight seeping past the punch holes and meeting with the LED lights, which appear to be in the same cluster.
In the pic below you can just make out the edges of the headlight

Compared to the concept it seems the grill has shrunk and the headlights have grown larger.
On a different subject the taillight shape is clearly visible through the camo from this pic:

more info from europe:
- several sources say 2.5l will have 250hp (still doesnt sound right)
- 465l trunk in hybrid (it was 430 for non hybrid before)
- trunk has automatic opening and closing
- batteries better position for 50:50 balance in GS450h
- front seats have adjustable thigh support and adjustable side bolsters!!!
- lots of space in the back
- they assume nimh batteries but they say 3km range on electricity (50% more than before, which would mean higher capacity batteries). battery pack weight lowered to only 90kg.
- first FULL led headlights in GS450h (foglights LED?)
- variable rate steering and rear wheel steering make the car seem lighter and smaller on small country roads
- there is something about analogue gauge cluster, they call it "dark panel"
- rear seats have ventilation as well as heating
take everything written with grain of salt... it is not official info but thoughts of reviewers... but i found both german and italian mags mention 465l trunk for hybrid and 250hp 2.5l.

That's a bold suggestion, but I don't think it's the case:

Thanks for blown up pics, I haven't seen those yet. LED bar is 99% part of the same cluster so mystery is solved.Due to the camo on pics I quoted it seemed to me that LED DRLS and headlights don't align in perspective but it was just an optical illusion.

1. VERY VERY encouraged to hear a GS coupe is something they desire![Woot](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/woot.gif)
2. I am happy to hear about these seats! Comfort is so important for me with my next purchase, legs are long and getting old
. Very happy to read this.
3. I hope bitkahuna is right that they truly intend to focus on the GS 450h this time. I think they will since they are dropping the V-8 sedan until the GS F comes.

Anyways...
Lexus Considering GS Coupe
Just the Facts:
-Lexus is considering a coupe version of the soon-to-be-revealed 2013 Lexus GS sedan.
-The GS Coupe would compete with Audi A5/S5, BMW 650i and Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe.
-It would be the spiritual successor to the SC 430, which Lexus recently discontinued.
-It probably wouldn't hit the market before the spring of 2013.

Click on the source to read the whole article, if you like.
A GS Coupe to go against the 6-Series would be nice.

Wow I'm gonna have to agree. That saddle/black combination is the best so far. I want it bad as well!

From my observations, the cheapest cars that have leather on the top of the door panel is $100k.
