But see...if they snow us with potential new cars, we'll forget.
V-12 LS650.
They have the money and resources. Hopefully they will put forth a real push on existing releases.
Time to bring back the Celica and Supra along with Lexus counterparts. Would love to see a GSF. Just not going to happen.
Indeed only time will tell, but I remain hopeful that the current crisis is not costing niche development projects. Lexus' parent company has an emergency fund worth billions which is meant for situations like the recall debacle and addressing the media circus. I hope that GS-F development is further along that considerations of delays are related primarily to quality testing, also market impact research, rather than diverting funds away from R&D.
They basically are recycling the same news. They know nothing and then present a NEW photoshop which is OLD.
That article says the exact OPPOSITE of their heading. This is the craptastic journalism that is plaguing magazines that people read.

Would you actually spring for a GS-F if it is put it into production? That's going to be a pretty fair number of $$$$$$$. My rough guess is probably 65 or 70K........perhaps more.

Realistically? No, at $80K+ (my guess) the GS-F will almost certainly be out of my price range. Although I am very much wanting to work my way up to the latest gen variants of LS line, my future Lexus aspirations are likely centered around their entry models. That being said, the GS-F is an aspirational model in the truest sense, one that imparts a sense of possibility to GS owners and Lexus owners at large. I am eagerly awaiting the 4GS and whatever variants come with it, the GS-F the most exciting of possible ones...
I just hope they do not kill the regular V8 GS in favor of GS-F. I would never want a car like GS-F - with low profile tires and stiff suspension they are just too punishing and not practical.
I would say between $80k and $85k....The LS-f if we ever get one has to command $100k+
One reason why I think that they should develop a GS F is because the engine that they use in it (be it a FI V8 or V10) can be shared with quite a few models to amortize the cost.
The 500+hp engine can also be used in a next gen SC and an LS F (which would compete with the S63 AMG and the Audi S8).
That one engine could up Lexus's prestige greatly....

I would hope so too. But I don't think they would do that, because for one not everyone wants to drive a hybrid and secondly not everyone wants to spend $75+K for the GS-F.
