^^ Not sure what you mean either??
It will probably start selling Late Spring or Early Summer 2012..
(my opinion, nothing official)

Model year change at the Japan production plants have been happening in July/August for the Lexus IS & GS..
(AFAIK, over the last 5-6 years for these current platforms)
So usually by September the next MY (2012's) start arriving at the dealerships for Sale.
Expect no major changes or refreshes for the 2012 IS & GS... Well maybe a change of a short run, to put together whatever they have projected since the Earthquake.

But if Lexus intends to change its path, more offerings will be needed.
When I think of a sporty interior, carbon fiber and/or aluminum trims come to mind.

CF is too sport niche and is not luxury, aluminum (when it's not even aluminum and usually plastic) should not be mixed with wood, it is not tasteful. I'd like to see a move towards more exotic materials and finishes, hybrid glass, etc...
Steering wheel appears with a matte/dry finish as we've seen from recent LS models, I don't mind this but needs more options.

I hate to say it, but, you're DEFINITELY in the minority on that one. I've seen several forums and videos pertaining to the new GS from the official Lexus Facebook fan page to videos on YouTube... pretty much everyone hated the concept grille (including me) but a toned down grille like the one's on Mr. Burns's signature, looks great to me!

You can't label a vehicle 2013 if its sold in the Q2 of 2012 anywhere in the world except in US. That's why you have 2005 3GS everywhere else on the globe but not here, here 2006 ran for year and a half. From what I can remember if you release a vehicle in March you can label it as next year model or something like that (again in US only).

Am I the only one who's H I G H L Y disappointed that Lexus isn't releasing a V8 version of the 4GS? If the GS F becomes a fantasy and never makes production we won't have a pound for pound contender for the MB-E550 or BMW-550 ?!? The 4GS looks very promising from what we've seen do far but...... I still want that V8 power?

At this point I am only interested in the GS-F.........
And if they fail, the TT CLS 550 is looking wonderful inside and out

I'm sure if and when the GS-F comes out it will be with a properly powerful V8, otherwise there is just no reason. As long as that happens, then I think most of the population who wants more power, but not necessarily as much as the GSF will hopefully make, will be quite happy with the GSh.
