Again its a little diff, but I really love the new CLS 550 and thats an 80k \ 400HP car. Lexus should not have an issue bringing in a 400hp+ Gs-F that looks, preforms and sounds amazing for 80k
i think 80-85k starting price would be good, that's still lower than competitors.

i still say if they don't have anything 500+hp, don't call it gsf. it would be funny when isf has 415hp and gsf more or less the same figure.

As long as Lexus stays away from F/I the only way they can match the power would be with higher hp hybrids but that would be risky and heavy. Its not like Lexus offers huge 6.0 Liter engines or anything. Really curious how they are going to get the extra power.

and yes, if they make a gsf, it should be higher than 70k. i don't see it anything less. isf price is the same as m3 (figure wise), and m5/e63 are both touching 100k
It all makes the CTS-V look like an amazing bargain doesn't it.

Ha, what if Lexus surprises everyone with like a 600hp tuned 5.0 in the GSF. That would be soo cool.

i always think the cts-v is a huge bargain for what it is. i have to give them credit for how they try to penetrate this segment. just that the car looks so darn ugly

According to Motor Trend (Looking in the Sept issue), the 3.5's hp is bumped to 310/280 and the Hybrid will have a combined 380hp.

hp # isn't everything. how it gets to the ground matters, where the torque peak is, and of course, fuel economy.
when you think a 2gs300 had what, 225hp?

GAAAAAAHHHHHH! With all due deference to the disguising, this looks like someone mated a Nissan Maxima with a Cadillac. Awful.

Good point, if \ when the GS-F drops not sure if FI is on the table, do we see 450hp tuned off the 5.0 block, maybe throw in awd as a value add to offset the lack of 500hp+?

Willing to sell future kids for detuned high rev v10 with awd

I'd like to see the hybrid closer to 400hp since their isn't a V8 car, and the 550i and E550 are in that realm.

Omission of the 8AT is becoming more and more depressing

In the current 3GS, it's actually 303hp and 280lbft, IS is 306/277. Not that it really matters lol
