A little birdie tells me the GS350 will be a turbo charged V6 pumping out 360hp.. I'm just sayin

 

I would be so happy if Lexus start to twin turbos their V6 and V8 like what MB and BMW doing right now, then I won't have to cross over to the Euro side like what I am foreseeing right now.

Twin Turbo the 4.6L or 5.0L V8 and stick them into the GS, LS and SC........OMG I would be in love with Lexus again.

A chipped/exhaust twin turbo SC500 would smoke the LFA!

ever since yamaha has been capable of tweaking the engines to hell, i've preferred Lexus/Toyota using the NA engines with amazing HP/liter ratio. not to mention with the issues with BMWs bi turbo has made me leery of turbos.

 

Now that be a first right?!

 

I don't think TT or SC is going to happen...journalists would have noticed/heard either during testing last month.

The last thing Toyota/Lexus needs at the moment is a HPFP recall. Just put out a good competitive product is all the fanbase is looking for. And a v8 on the side please

If GS350 will produce 360hp, then 450h should be 400hp+ ?

 

In one of the first posts in this (now huge) thread, I said that I hoped Lexus would do a FI/Hybrid setup on the new GSh...next gen LHD with electronically assisted turbos. Could be suweet, but pretty bold. We'll see what they do next month at Frankfurt.

 

I don't see turbo's making their way back on Toyotas yet. But with the future fuel economy regs they may as well get on with it.

 

lol I thought it was my patience while waiting for a substantial hp increase in the V8...

But then again, that wore out some time ago.
