Toyota Motor Company can build the next Space Shuttle if they want to.
But feels like they are pushing fuel efficiency more then all out excess. Honda too, they even cancelled their V8 program and the new NSX.
The bad economy and the tsunami probably really humble them up, they want to be safe to lay low rather then go big to challenge the Europeans.

well. i didn't like the grill on the concept car, however, i would much rather have that grill than what it has on the production car.
this doesn't look good Lexus, you got to change something there.

davegs4 has issued 6 (SIX) warnings to stay on topic and not about any person. i will give everyone one last benefit of the doubt. after this point on it will be only about time out, banning, and loss of access to 4gs forum, no more warning. enough is enough. you know very well if you are on the watch list. we don't care if you have a lot of posts or only 10, we have asked very nicely. if you have problems with posts, report them.

by comparison, i would rather have gears than cvt. i still can't get over the funny feeling driving the 450h and 600hl

I think the car looks neat............however the wheels featured here look like ****.
Probably some higher specs rims (or something from the F-sport versions) would be appreciated.
P.S.
Needs 50 gears as well as at least two gears for reverse .
Pretty soon, these vehicles will have more gears than any bicycle
Though
If you want that many gears, then why not just go for a CVT (which has INFINITE speeds and gear ratios)?

quite sure this is the real deal, it features the correct lines and details of the camo-ed versions. I dont think it looks bad...it looks like a Lexus. Depending on how those rear lights look when they are lit can made a huge difference.
The only think that bothers me is the length of the car from those pictures, but hopefully the rear deal wont look as truncated as it does here

I don't mind the CVT in my RX 450h either. It makes for really really smooth acceleration without those shifts. You do get used to the lack of rpms going up and down over time.
I still think we're going to find that the GS will look much better when we see it tomorrow in the good shots that I'm sure they'll be releasing. I think people are getting themselves too worked up over these Chinese shots.
