Congrats! That's the color I really wanted, but was *extremely* hard to come by in my area. I'm jealous, but in a totally good way! Enjoy the ride!

Congrats on the new car! Where did you buy the courtesy lights from? I would like to replace the dealer installed ones, which are cool until you drive off the lot!

Default Glad to be a part of the GS 350 FAM!!!

I'm about a month in on owning my '18 GS 350 (RWD) F-Sport and I couldn't have been any happier! I'm absolutely loving the whip in how it looks and how fun it is to drive. I've been dreaming about owning one for yeaaaaaars and it finally happened!

After having owned and been quite satisfied with my two Honda Civics ('96 and '06 EXs) and a Honda Accord ('17 Touring sedan), I wanted to finally step up into the luxury segment. As appealing as German cars are, I truly didn't see myself buying one simply because of their unreliability and cost of ownership.

I knew I was either gonna be riding in an Acura or Lexus and nothing else. I had lamented on getting a TLX but I really didn't want to get another sub-300 hp car. I had 278 in my Touring and the TLX tops out at 290+, if I'm not mistaken. Disclaimer: Yes, at the time of this posting, there'll be the Type S coming soon- which looks fire, btw!

Needless to say, the choosing of the GS 350 was just right as it fit my personality and aesthetic taste. To be quite honest and although it may seem bias, I really do think that the GS is the best looking Lexus out there aside from the LC, of course...lol.

As of right now, no modifications have been made on it except for tinted windows. The car is black in it's exterior color and maroon/red as the interior. One of the other things that I'd like to do to it is to black out the chrome trim in the window sills, grille, and the trunk.

Any suggestions on what method would look the cleanest? Wrap? Paint? Plastidip?

Lexus GS 350, ftw!!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Congrats! I tend to like the chrome on my black GS - it provides a nice contrast. But to each his own - I'm sure the blackout trim will look awesome as well.

I believe most of the folks I've seen blackout the trim have wrapped it, but I could be wrong...

Nice car, congrats.........
I debating toot ot black out trim as my BMWs alwayshad it. At the same time Im ok with it. Sidelines on the car are fairly generic bu tthe c pilar chrome is a distinct GS line.
Fron Is not that distractiong. I have Mica Gray. I think I'd have it profesionally wrapped in the event I wanted it off. That comes at a cost and perhaps if I am on the fence that itslelf might really disuades me. Black is great color for the car! Many happy miles!!!

1. 2017 GS350 F-sport
2. Atomic silver/rioja (what happened to the atomic silver gs350 owners thread?)
3. Nav / Mark Levinson / Triple beam headlights / Cold weather package
4. AWD
5. no DRS
6. Planned mods: clear bra, dash cam
7. Picked the gs350 since I wanted something sporty, reliable, luxurious, future family friendly, and fun to drive. I needed an all in one car since I am no longer allowed to have 2 cars. I have previously owned Mazda FC rx-7❤️, Honda S2000 ap2 ❤️❤️❤️, Lexus IS300 5spd❤️❤️, Nissan 350z roadster, Infiniti g35, Acura RDX, Nissan Pathfinder, Honda Accord, Mercedes ML350.

Just picked up a 2018 Lexus GS350 FSport and I’m loving this color Atomic Silver. Glad to be back in a Lexus after trying a BMW and Jeep.
