I’ve had a lot of cars over the years and finally plunged into the Lexus world. Got a ‘18 GS350 F sport. Love it. Hoping to make some friends on here and read some good posts.
Hello all. Just purchased a 2017 GS 350. I'm still setting the car up and learning the language. I have some questions; might seem silly to those who have had Lexus for some time but nobody was born knowing the answers. We all have to learn.
So, first question: when I go into climate control on the screen, the A/C button has a green bar next to it. If I click on the button the bar turns blue. What I can't figure out is which one means the A/C is on? I would think green means on but why would the A/C be on all the time?
I'm sure there's a simple explanation and I'd appreciate any help.
Thank you!

For the AC, I believe green means it has been selected.
My understanding of this setting is to think of it as being "enabled" so the car can use the AC compressor as required, rather than if it's just disabled/off. When your HVAC is in AUTO mode, it can then use the AC as needed for cooling and defogging.
What's up guys. Ryan here, hailing from Massachusetts. Just recently converted to team Lexus, coming from a 2018 Audi S4. Definitely going to miss that car, but the lease was ending and wanted to get something a little more economical.
Meet my 2014 GS350 F-Sport (pictured after I got my lowering springs and winter wheels installed)!

Congrats! Once you get some time with her let us know your thoughts. I came from an A6 3.0 and the S4 was in my short list but I only drove 1 once and ultimately went with the 450h. Would love to hear your thoughts comparing the 2. Thanks.
Is that a Luxury trim with an F Sport front bumper? Car looks great!
It's a true F-Sport, just got a set of wheels for my winter's.

I loved that car. Not to hate on the Lexus, but it is a little bit of a back-step. The performance all around from the Audi was just next level.. from power to the handling to the fit & finish.. Don't get me wrong, the GS has plenty to offer though and keep things exciting.

Welcome! Seems you have a collection of Toyota and now made your way into the Lexus line up.
You can enter your vin in Lexus driver's website to see what your car came with from factory and or installed at the port as I see you don't know if you have ML or not but you can also check by the sd card slot if it has the ML logo there in front of the head unit
Just picked up a 2013 gs450h.
