GS350 base
no ML
47k miles
Excellent condition
considering CarPlay retrofit
replaced a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid. A bit of an upgrade.
Purchased through a dealer (hard to find GS’s around here). When finance asked me how long I intend to keep the vehicle, I answered, “until I’m dead!” Hope that’s a ways off.
Hey everyone just wanted to say hello just got my hands on a 2015 GS 350 F-Sport. Been eyeing the 4th gens since they came out. Luckily for I was in the market for a newish used car I was finally able to purchase the car I've been wanting for a while now. I am very happy with the car. I got what I wanted, unfortunately we got hit with some rain this morning in LA and to my dismay I entered my car to find a water leak on the driver side A pillar. This is the only issue with the car after 2 weeks of ownership. I am hoping somebody here can provide some guidance. I posted a picture of where the leak is ...
@SiRMarlon congrats on the GS! That water in your image above may be coming from a clogged sunroof water drain hole/line. See these posts here:
Hello all. Just joined the Lexus Family yesterday and picked up a (new-to-me) 2020 GS350 AWD in Nightfall Mica with about 37k miles on the odometer. The car drives like new!!
My last car was a solid performer over the last 19 years @ 200k+ miles and was a pleasure to drive--I would expect no less from this Lexus. I'm looking to learn from others and contribute where I can on this forum.

Based on your user name, I'm assuming a G35... what year? Coupe or sedan? There are a few converts on CL. I had an '03 sedan and the move to Lexus is night and day, especially as far as NVH. Because the G was so loud and raw, it made you feel like you were going fast and it was an exciting experience. I've found the GS350 to be so much better in every way... Welcome to the board!

Much thanks for your reply! You've guessed correctly: 2003 G35 Coupe. I was drawn to the VQ engine burble at idle and it was equally enjoyable at WOT. I can honestly say trouble-free ownership--no mods except for the K&N Engine Air Filter. Unfortunately, things were starting to age and required replacement. The original, full exhaust was replaced in 2021, but last year, the steering knuckle and control arms needed replacement and so after 19 years of ownership, I didn't want to throw more money into it and sold it. The only hassle for me was maintaining two sets of wheels and tires: summer and snow.
But, like you said the Lexus is noticeably different from that in many aspects and am enjoying it so far.
@G35toGS350 Looks like mint condition - L Certified from Lexus dealer? - curious as to where you found it?
Yes, I was impressed by the condition of this car based on age and mileage too--very, very pristine. It is L Certified, and by searching inventory on Lexus within a 100 mile radius (?), I found it in NJ dealership about 1.5 hours away.
If I recall correctly, there are a few more GS in Maryland and a few in north NJ and NY.

Looks like a Desert Plat... that was the color of my sedan as well. Unfortunately, trouble-free it was not... 3 starters, 2 radiators, a tranny rebuild at 175K, head unit, crankshaft and camhaft sensors, lower control arms, steering rack and lines, water pump, ignition coils, and it drank a qt of oil every 2K or so. So after 15 years and 275K, it was time to call it quits. Luckily I did most of the work myself otherwise it would have cost a lot more to keep it that long. Since I keep cars so long, I can't see myself in anything other than a Honda or Toyota product going forward.
Been a forum member for long with long list of other lexus cars I owned. So far my family has been Lexus/Toyota loyal. Currently own 2004 ES330 and 2017 Sienna XLE. Was in a need for another car and finally decided to buy the following 2015 GS350
1. GS (Premium)
2. Obsidian Black / Cabernet 3. Nav / No ML 4. AWD 5. no DRS 6. Planned mods? None 7. What other cars were you considering? What did this replace or add to? I was considering ES350 but decided to buy this based on reviews and only slightly higher price. This will be another car in family with two teenagers growing and one of them got the license now who will drive 2004 ES330
BTW, I will be getting car sometime by early next week as it is shipped by dealer from Nevada to my location in Northern California.
I purchased 2015 GS350 AWD with 38k miles. Ran the carfax and all checked out before purchase. Didn't have time to fly out to dealer location but trusted their techs on their report that all systems check out and did a live video over whatsapp call. All cars I searched up in my area were atleast 3-4k more $$ and more miles as well. Car has some minor scratches on both sides door but no dents.
First time ever I am buying a car without taking a test drive and crossing my fingers :-)
BTW, I purchased 2015 GS350 AWD with 38-39k miles from out of my local state of CA and waiting for the car to be delivered.
Congrats! Which state is your car being shipped from? Out here in the Mid-Atlantic region, there are maybe 10 L-Certified GS models, but perhaps out West there are more options?
New to me, 22K from original local owner. 1. GS 350 F-sport 2. Color Ultra White/Black 3. Navigation with Mark Levinson 4. RWD 5. No DRS 6. Planned mods? None 7. What other cars were you considering? ES350 until I drove this one. What did this replace or add to? Replaced 2011 Avalon
