Welcome to Club Lexus! 4GS owner roll call & member introduction thread, POST HERE!

Hi folks, I'm a new member since November, but this is my first post. Picked up my first Lexus, a GS4, luxury package, back in August 2012. 2nd Lexus if my wife's CT200h was counted. Sold my 2008 Infiniti G35x Sport & 2006 350Z prior, wonderful cars, but wife wanted only 2 cars in the house (2 car garage) she didn't want to park her car outside in the winter...up here in Canada, & weather does go 30 below 0C (~20 below 0F).
Starfire Pearl & black interior (same as CT200h). Only other vehicle considered was the Infiniti M37x. Fun, sporty, smooth, comfy, refined, reliable, & fairly classy was the main reason I got the GS4. Loving the new direction Lexus is heading, too. It handles as well or slightly better than the G35x & much better than the M56Sport (test drove). The interior alone sold me before starting the car up for a test drive. Didn't consider BMW, Benz or Audi, I'm sure you all know why.

New 4GS owner and forum member here. Purchased the car this week for my wife, replacing her 2006 Acura TL, which was a very nice car and had served us well. This is our first Lexus and we are simply thrilled with this car!
1. Luxury Package
2. Starfire Pearl with Black interior
3. Nav, Mark Levinson, HUD, BSM, Park Assist
4. RWD
5. No DRS
6. Window Tint, maybe a wheel upgrade at some point
7. Mercedes E350, Jaguar XF (loved the Jag with its supercharged V6 and 8 speed auto). Currently also own a 2011 Shelby GT500 and 2008 Toyota Tacoma 4x4.

Fourth Lexus and loving it, as always. Brought home a dealer demo F Sport. It was the only white one they had for the last day of the month and just what I needed to decide what options.
Started with a 95 SC400, gave that up because it didn't hold baby seats, moved to a 98 LS400 that I still have. My mom has an 03 GS 430 that I bought her when I took her LS. That car looks like new, drives like new, and I wanted one too. Now I have it.
I've been through a few crazy days with my LS so I am still back and forth between that forum and this one. I still have the LS for a little while longer but I think I won't keep it as long as I had thought that I would.

I thought I'd wait until I took delivery (last night) before I posted here. Although I'm relatively new here at CL, I've been in IB forums for years.
Just tell us some basics!
1. GS F-sport
2. Color: Obsidian / Cabernet
3. Nav / Mark Levinson
4. RWD
5. Dynamic Rear Steer / HUD
6. Planned mods? We'll see.
7. What other cars were you considering? What did this replace or add to?
I considered also considered Audi A6 and Infiniti M. Previous car was an Infiniti G. I was rear-ended at a stop light and the Infiniti was totalled. Now I'm enjoying my new GS. I'll start posting pics once the mods begin.

I love the GS so far, but they are different several areas.
In terms of handling, the Infiniti had suspension mods, so the ride in the Lexus is more suited for daily driving. However, the Lexus' handling in Sport+ mode has been excellent "out of the box" for "spirited" driving giving it the best of both worlds. I'm still on the wall on whether or not to do any more to the Lexus besides lowering it ... which in addition to handling benefits, would be more for appearance. I personally don't like the 4x4 look in sedans.
The Infiniti had over 450 WHp so it easily out powered my Lexus. However, I'm still researching to see what the potential there is for the Lexus.
The Lexus gets the nod in other areas. Being 7 years newer, there is obviously more techlology in the Lexus. The Infiniti G and Lexus GS are not in the same class when it comes to size. The Lexus is about 2 inches longer and wider than the Infiniti G and it clearly shows when it comes to comfort and space.

Hello fellow Club Lexus owners! I have been lurking in the shadows for the past few years and finally decided to join after getting into a new GS350 F-Sport. Over the years I have since had the pleasure of owning 300ZX TT, FX45, Toyota 4Runner, M3, 3rd Gen GS350, M6:
1. GS F-Sport
2. Starfire Pearl/Cabarnet Red
3. NAV / ML / BSM / HUD / DRS / RS / IPA
4. RWD
5. I have new ISS Forged 20's FM10R's in the box waiting on Springs. Also installed the Prestigious Society NAV override box and lovin it! You can view your DVD's while in Motion. Car was already tinted by the dealer when I picked it up last Sep. 2011. Also will add the JDM fog light kit that has been posted on here, with Yellow bulbs for a nostalgic nod back to the early Lexus models
6. This replaced my M6, which I was not a big fan of. Car was a beast with the V-10, but no selectable ride but firm, also the Bluetooth and Nav were horrible in my opinion for a 100K+ car....so back to Lexus I go and will not be looking back anytime soon! I have to admit that you can not beat it's reliability and now performance after driving the new F-Sport. Very curious to see if they will bring a GS-F to the Product line

loving my 2013 GS
i picked up a 2013 GS350
its starfire pearl, with light gray interior. Premium pk. HDDNavigation with 12.3in
RWD
18 in split 5 spoke chrome wheels, with a rear spoiler lip.
Lexus appliqué which give it an amazing "pop"
Tinted windows, remote start.
I test drive the BMW 535 and almost purchased a Mercedes E350 but customer service was poor👎
I'm glad I decided in this baby, it's a smooth riding car that gives me thrills with each acceleration!
will post pics later
I'm thinking about some wheels that will give it a stance.
any suggestions

Long time lurker...I was lurking all the way back in 2009 when I was considering getting a IS 350 or IS-F but things happened and it was new car purchase was postponed until last August when I decided to put in an order for the GS 350 instead. Took delivery in December.
