I have just joined the Lexus GS "Nation!" Have been driving BMWs lately (07 530 and 10 535) -- won't bash 'em. Love driving the cars -- always best friends with the BMW service department staff -- enough said. Couldn't do it again ... regardless of warranty or maintenance plans.

Excited about many the mods I've seen on the forum. Gotta remove the wheel gap first (dropped -- not slammed) and I love the tasteful vinyl and paint on some of the cars. Mine is pretty basic but I'll post pics. Finally received a little rain in San Antonio! Looking forward to asking questions from you lux-sport gear-heads. I'm smiling and absolutely happy with my decision to move on from the German competition.

Congrats! So this Belltronics device.... it really blocks out all radar without detection? I'd love this considering I got a speeding ticket not even a week ago.

 

The Belltronics STi-R plus radar detector will alert you if there is a radar sensed. It will not block it. The laser interceptor will "jam" causing it to not get a reading on the gun only if the cop is using a laser gun... If you hear an alert on either of the devices...slow down

I am one of the few without a cell phone, but need to get one (low cost). Simple Mobile has unlimited $40 per month, but Lexus website does not list Simple Mobile as a compatible carrier. Told me that Simple Mobile "not rated yet." I would like to stream Pandora as I do not enjoy XM/Sirus Radio. Does anyone use Simple Mobile with Lexus RX. I have a 2011. Also, what phone works? I am not getting Apple.

Ahh got it. I might eventually get one of these with a blend mount. I can't keep getting these tickets smh. I've gotten two tickets in the past year and I've never had tickets previously. I think my car just attracts more attention lol.

As far as I know, it will work. All you need is an internet connected phone that has bluetooth streaming. That is just about any android and windows phone today.

 

I know most states allow radar detectors but aren't "jammers" illegal in some states?
