Sorry to hear about your TL-S. Having recently traded a TLX for a GS, I can tell you that there is no comparison between the two. The GS is a step up in many ways, and is priced as such! I think you made the right decision!
I am new to the forum as far as having a profile but have been trolling since my Gen 3 days... love the info I get on here! will post more soon.
Thank you to all that provide so much useful mod information! it helps me out a lot!
1. GS Luxury
2. Color Pearl White/Black
3. Nav Mark Levinson
4. RWD
5. no DRS
6. Installed Tanabe NS springs and Stance SC8 rims
7.Considered a LS but decided not as sporty as the GS (beautiful car though) replaced my GS 3rd gen (just add on still own 3gs)

Bummer to hear about your TL-S loss. They are a great car. Sounds like you're already enjoying the ride!
As a 25+ year Honda/Acura owner (currently have a TL-S & CL-S) I've found I like the quiet ride & looks of my 2013 GS F Sport. The one thing that's been a disappointment is mileage. Both my current Acura's consistently get better mileage. To the tune of at least 5 MPG better. The GS "sound box" provides a cool performance sound but the Acura is still much better performance response & sound.
If they could "marry" Acura perfomance with the Lexus styling & interior, IMHO, that would make for an awesome car.

Reason: MODIFICATIONS
Wanted to say hello - been lurking on the forum for about 6 months while I debated a GS purchase. Just sold my 2008 Porsche Carrera S in Speed Yellow after 5 years of ownership. I decided it was time for a new experience.
Decided on a CPO 2013 GS with
1. Luxury Package
2. Starfire Pearl /Light Gray interior
3. Nav/ No ML
4. Remote Start/BSM/Park Assist
5. RWD
6. Tinted windows
No good pictures yet, as the weather has been overcast or raining, so will get some good photos once it clears up.
Looking forward to learning more from the forum and possibly getting into all the DIY I can handle (maintenance/not mods) as the GS looks like a very easy car to work on from my early inspection under the hood.
Just picked up a new 2015 GS 350 on New Years Eve as the local dealer was pretty much giving the remaining 2015's away. Been looking for about 10 months but finally pulled the trigger.
1. F-Sport
2. Ultra White /Cabernet interior
3. Nav / No ML
5. AWD
6. Tinted windows/pro-trim/lojack
7. Plan to leave stock with the exception of springs and staggered vossen 20's.
8. Looked at the Rover LR4, MB E350 and A6 3.0.
I've already introduced myself, but for the sake of completeness...
Details of my '15 GS that I picked up on 12/23.
1. F Sport
2. Atomic Silver/Black
3. Nav/ Mark Levinson
4. AWD
5. no DRS
6. I plan to add miles ;-)
7. Didn't consider anything else. Took my '14 IS350 in for service and walked out with the GS when the dealer made me an offer I could not refuse.

1. GS Premium
2. obsidian exterior, black interior

7. she replaced my '06 GS 300 AWD
To those posting, would you be ok sharing how much you paid (Especially, CPO purchasers)...I'm hoping to buy soon and would love to get a feel for the market price on these.
Hello. Just leased my '15 GS on Monday the 4th.
1. Luxury Package w/ Cold Weather, heated steering wheel
2. Atomic Silver/Black
3. Nav, Mark Levinson, LKA, IPA, Power Trunk, PCS with dynamic cruise control
4. RWD
5. No mods. May add the trunk spoiler.
6. Replaced an '06 LS 430 Ultra Luxury
Owned a CPO '10 535i with Sport Package which was/is a heck of car as was the CPO warranty. I just couldn't see myself owning it outside of warranty and didn't want to have that much firmness all the time. Went to the LS 430 UL and thought I'd be done for a while with the luxury but missed the sportiness and the technology was dated. I can tell you from experience that this GS provides all the sportiness of the 535i, most of the luxury of the LS 430, and hits the sweet spot for technology. The flexibility to dial up or down the sportiness increases the value to me. It's like have two cars in one. Throw in what I expect to be top of the line reliability and I'm a very happy camper!
Hadn't initially considered this vehicle, saw one and decided to go and do a test drive. Got to the dealer, saw the IS350 liked it, test drove it and really liked it's nimbleness and handling but felt it was too small, not enough luxury. Test drove the GS, initially felt it was a little heavy (coming from a Kia Optima) but thought it offered more value than the IS350 for about the same leasing price. Really like the GS so far. Took it on a decent run this weekend and it handled like a dream in pouring rain!
Just tell us some basics!
1. GS (non F-sport)
2. Starfire Pearl
3. Nav / No ML
4. RWD
5. no DRS
6. Planned mods = Nothing major. Already done tint. Planning on clear front wrap, K&N and wheels....full intake probably at some point
7. Considered Audi A6. Replaced Gen 5.5 Maxima
