Default From Dallas

Finished wash and wax for first time. The dealer, where I got her from didn't clean her good enough.

Bought as it, 3 weeks ago, 2013. Didn't have time to detail the exterior until today. Thinking going to Davenport Motor Co. to get service report, because the previous owner did his most maintenance there and also get the alignment done.

Purchased a pre-owned 2015 GS350 F Sport with 14,500 miles. Traded in my 2008 IS350 x-package after driving it 170,000 miles. Had the GS about 2 months now and am loving everything about the car, especially the cabernet leather, ML sound system, and Sport mode!

Default New to forum, always been a Lex fan!

Hi gents!

I'm new to this forum, but i've been lurking for a while now. Decided to joint as i'm putting all my ducks in a row so i can pull the trigger for a nice CPO 2015 GS350 no later than this summer. I currently own a 2016 WRX, but i'm done with that harsh ride, not good for a DD with a 70 round trip commute. I absolutely would like the 2016, but i have to follow my budget wisely, i have a few questions that will impact my decision:

1. Do the 2015 GS350 offer the lexus pre collision system? If so, what model offers it? The F Sport? Also, is it standard on the 2016s? Excuse my
ignorance. Thanks in advance!

Yes. If it has radar cruise, it has pre collision since it's the same package. My 2013 has it.

Here are some that have it. You can tell it has radar cruise because of the radar button on the bottom right of the steering wheel:

These listings specifically mention radar cruise or pre-collision. There are many that have it that don't mention it, so you'll have to go hunting.

For the 2015 GS350, you will tend to find the pre-collision system on the F-sport and Luxury Package cars. These features aren't that common (due to price and availability) so you might have to search quite a bit.

Starting on the 2016MY GS350, Lexus introduced Lexus Safety System+ which made pre-collision and other safety features more affordable. Most cars were specced with it, especially F-sport and Luxury Package cars. Starting on the 2017MY GS350, Lexus made it standard.

Thank you for the reply, but how to tell if a previous of 2016MY have it? I've been looking to pics on cars.com of the steering and I don't see any particular button. Also, in the descriptions of details don't mention that. How come yours have it?

I fixed the links in my post.

For the 2016, it's this button:

Right, i see, but what about the previous models like 2015, 2014 and 2013? Don't see that button in the steering wheel, neither they mention the pre collision system feature in their postings.

That car is beautiful! Enjoy it, by the way, those are the 19'' wheels right? How is the ride, i heard that the there could be differences in ride comfort between the 18'' wheels and the 19''. Is that accurate?

Same place, but button is bigger. Scroll down to "Pre-Crash Sys w/Pre-Brake, Driver's Eye Monitor, and Radar Cruise Control"

First time Lexus owner here, first post as well.

Recent past vehicles:
12/2015 - 2016 Honda Accord Touring - Silver - Traded
5/2016 - 2016 Toyota Camry XSE XSP V6 - Silver - Traded
12/2016 - 2013 Lexus GS 350 F-Sport AWD - Silver - Traded
12/2016 - 2014 Lexus GS 350 F-Sport RWD - Nebula Gray - Traded
1/2017 - 2015 Lexus GS 350 F-Sport RWD - Atomic Silver (Current and final choice. I wish I would have bought this one first!)

I plan to hold on to the 2015 GS 350 F-Sport as long as possible because I prefer the front end/rear design over the 2016+ models.
