6. Minor if any - maybe a front splitter and rear valance.
7. Originally I intended to get a GS F but in the end decided not to take $20k drive home and got a good deal on this 350. Replaced a 2009 IS350

However I do appreciate being able to warm up the car from inside.

Hello everyone ... some people probably know me from my previous posts in the GEN3 group where I did a lot of documenting on my 2007 Gen 3 Lexus (link to topic here). I planned keeping that one forever however I came across this beauty at a local car traders site and wend for a visit last week. He made me a great offer on the car and also wanted to buy my 3th gen for a very reasonable price. So I will soon own a 2012 (August) Lexus GS450H.
The car has only 14.000 miles on the counter and was a car used at Toyota Motors Europe as far as I understood to transport the Japanese people visiting Toyota Europe :-) the car is in new state will post more pictures.
Here in Belgium these cars are not very popular due to their big engine, most people buy 1.6 diesels or 2.0 diesels if they are doing well. Road tax is very high for a 3.5 V6 (For my Gen 3 it was 1668 euro a year for the new one it will be 1443 due to the fact that this one is a euro 5 car and the gen 3 was euro 4), in comparison with for example an auris hybrid you pay here about 275 a year to give you an idea
1. GS Executive it is called in Belgium funny to know that Executive is actually the base model over here :-)
2. Dark gray and black perforated leather
3. Navigation + HD audio
4. RWD
5. Dynamic Rear Steer or no DRS nopes none of this
6. none :-) the car is perfect as is ... oh well I will by some support for my Ski-box and a set of winter rims
7. factory options ... Original 18" rimms (1500 euro option) and metallic paint
7. It replaces my gen 3 gs450h I also considered a CLS 350 shooting break and a Merc E 350 hybrid
In the future I will also get to learn this new car and hope to post some info over here on my day to day life with it :-)
Will probably be missoing my gen 3 as I like the outside design a bit more the gen 4 ... is like my mom says ... a bit to much inspired by a corolla / camry where the gen 3 was really something special. However that is very personal I see lots of people really liking the gen 4 :-) Interior is a big upgrade and will love the DAP+ and USB :-)
The car will remain at least 3 years in the family.
As a first test I will take it to Danmark in a few weeks :-)

1. GS F-sport
2. Nebula Grey / Black
3. Nav / Mark Levinson
4. RWD
5. no DRS
6. simple things like tint only, and rework the front bumper to remove the unsightly front plate
7. thought about going with an E-class or even an Audi but german cars require too much commitment for the upkeep...my wallet isn't ready
no need for pictures, you've seen one you've seen them all!

If it's a lease, it shouldn't matter but yes if you decide to own it long-term, you'll be paying a lot for the german makes (typically, not always)

Shopping for a used GS
I’m in no particular hurry, but I’m looking for a 1 Owner well documented used AWD.
I’ve had a 2007 BMW 530xi for 5 years (220,000 miles on the clock) and love everything about it but the reliability. Hoping Lexus will prove more reliable.

Hey guys! Joined the club at 6PM yesterday! It was a private sale, with 62k miles.
1. 2013 GS F-Sport
2. Nebula Gray Pearl / Cabernet
3. Nav
4. RWD
5. no DRS
6. Minimalistic mods planned, vinyl wrap the bumper, plastidip the badges and all chrome. Possibly close the tire gap, but don't really know how to.
7. I was considering an 07-08 Acura TL Type-S for the longest time, then switched to Infiniti Q50s for a bit, until this popped up for a great price, I couldn't turn it down. This replaced an 2000 RX 300.

Great looking car! Get ya some Expel installed and save that awesome white finish! I picked mine up Dec. 5th and can't wait to drive it again once this terrible weather clears up.

2018 gs350
2013 GS350 was totaled by a drunk driver a month ago. Man, I loved that car. Replaced with a 2018 GS350, white with flaxen interior. Pretty much the exact same color scheme. Both AWD, got the 19” wheels and tires, really like the look of them. Didn’t go with ML, enjoy the stock system enough. Got the All-Weather liners for the floorboards, myself and kids track a lot of dirt everywhere with our outdoor activities.
This forum is fantastic, so glad I found it.
