The interior is sweet. Only grip is that the 12.3" screen looks indented too much. It might be hard to reach. I wish the screen was more prominent and easier to get to.
why would you even want to touch the screen @_@ it's remote touch. i love this style of design. i can't say i am a huge fan of touch screen anymore, the fingerprints and sun glare can be quite annoying over time. with this design the screen can be substantially bigger and also much sharper / cleaner.
i hate idrive in my m3, but the remote touch is actually very well done imho
The car remains very similar to the 3GS in my mind. Mixed thoughts on dumping the quad headlights but overall I like it.
Am I the only one that likes the interior of 3GS better (based on these pics anyway)? The instrument cluster in particular looks to have taken a beating to me.
The most exciting thing to me is the better trunk... but the changes are not sweeping enough to really make it a trade in the 3GS to get a 4GS right away proposal.

I was thinking the same (along with better interior room in general), except driving dynamics are suppose to be noticeably improved in the 4GS. That may be the tipping point for me. It's not that the 3GS is a poor handling car, just softer and more isolated than I'd like at times. If I can keep the smoothness and comfort for long highway runs but dial it up a couple of notches for spirited back country jaunts, I'll be looking at the new model sooner than I'd planned. Advances in tech, features, and interior upgrades are pretty significant. It will be interesting to see how the pricing and option/package structure lays out.
I hated the original pictures of it that came out early, this makes it look great. They went in a complete direction of othr gs's, before you could look at a gs and know it was one, the 1'st 2nd, and 3rd generation all had a similiar look, shape or design cue to them, this is completely different.
We have the same problem with the 2011 IS headlights, they're a "bit" yellowy (almost white) sometimes in daylight. and pictures makes it much more yellowy.
Look at the difference, it's the same car. Trust me it's no biggie, might **** people off in photoshoots though lol.
