It;s funny I was complaining about this when I bought my GS 2 years ago, and you told me birdseye view is useless. I now actually also consider it to be a useless gimmick. What matters more is how much street name data can you see on the map.

I am kinda missing the flowing nature of the LS or 3rd Gen GS center console stack. This looks SOO BMW/Merc-ish to me....

Not a horrible thing just a bit derivative in its appearance.

The wife has an X5 with a widescreen display and it does remind me a lot of it

they are definitely going for a different multimedia strategy while trying to compose the added features and still balance the extremely easy usability that lexus is known for...Probably my favorite feature so far has to be the new clock

Because they moved the screen up, there is nowhere else to put the air conditioning vents but below it, this might be why everyone feels the design looks so 'euro'
