I've said this before... If Lexus cares about the F brand they NEED to make a GSF.
One car (ISF) cannot be the whole F brand! (Not counting the LFA)
They also need an IS and GS coupe - and Make F versions of those.
CTF w/ AWD would also be nice
Lexu should just F em all (Pun intended)

my faith is waning*
*waning present participle of wane (Verb)
Verb
(of the moon) Have a progressively smaller part of its visible surface illuminated, so that it appears to decrease in size.
(esp. of a condition or feeling) Decrease in vigor, power, or extent; become weaker: "confidence waned".

Lexus GS chief engineer states they are working on the next F model but the v8 is out of question, a modified v10 is possible and hybrid is "one option" (sounds like the could possibly be hybrid and non hybrid GS-Fs).
If anybody comes across any new GS-F news, let's keep this thread updated and keep at GS-F discussions here.

why would lexus make a v10? they could add a biturbo to the rock solid 4.6L v8 they already have in their line up. makes no sense to me. a gsf -awd with the 4.6L most practical despite the engineers comment above

I agree with you, but I think Lexus is against anything but naturally aspirated engines because it could denigrate their reputation for reliability. There can be issues with turbos and superchargers, even now.

Thank you thank you thank you! Any news that gets us closer to an actual GS-F is good news.
Lexus should use a version of the ISF engine and "add lightness" with use of carbon fiber parts from the idled LF-A facility.

So it looks like Lexus has filed the patent for the GS-F.

In fact, I think this should go to the OP.
