They didn't say, but it is likely that each version will get some unique colors.

Black for Toyota group cars is usually codenamed "202".

So I'm guessing that "212" color is one step higher then?

Not really... Code 212 aka Obsidian has been around for over 4 years now...

It's very possible...

The IS with factory "F-Sport Pkg" comes in Ultrasonic Blue Mica (8U1)

Also, the IS with "F-Sport Pkg" only comes is the Blue & Black.. (i think )

The Riviera Red looks darn close to the Matador Red. I too have loved the Matodor Red for years (since I first laid eyes on an SC430 in 06 in that color), but after seeing the Riviera Red in person, I can say it looks pretty much the same.

A helper found paint codes for the following colors on the Japanese Lexus site:

Liquid Platinum - 1J2
Riviera Red - 3S8
Meteor Blue Mica - 8W3

Interesting...

Lexus USA only gets 9 Exterior Colors.. While Lexus Japan gets 11 Exterior Colors

And they are :

Color Code 214 = "Black Opal Pearl" (Right off the LS600 h)

&

Color Code 217 = "Starlight Black Mica" aka "Starlight Gazer Black"
