SuperCharged 4GS F-Sport?
There is a guy in various auto sites whose I have paid attention for sometimes. While he is a Toyota fan and always defends Toyota/Lexus, I must give him credits for what he said (or Predicted). From the 3RX/RXh power and milage to the 4GS and the New Camry. His screen name is BlackDynamite or Dr. Fill.....
He said that the 4GS F-Sport will sport a TRD supercharger with about 60+ HP. Sounds very interesting, eh? Remember, the Tundra Ironman package? with more than 500 hp/tq we know that Toyota can do something great if they wanted too. Also, the TRD superchargers have been proven reliability.
What are your thoughts?

F-Sport or the mythical GS-F?
If it's the F-Sport they're debuting at SEMA....366 HP is sufficient. Can't wait till they overhaul the engine offerings though.

Interesting.
I actually said a while ago, that I don't think it would be totally impossible for Lexus to do something like slap electronically assisted turbos onto the LHD system to get a FI hybrid powertrain. Better fuel economy and tons more power.
I doubt that F Sport will be much more than suspension and cosmetic upgrades to the interior and exterior, but I certainly wouldn't be mad if that model add forced induction .

Definitely a possibility, TRD offered supercharger kit for many Toyota vehicles, from the top of my head, 4-bangers in the Tc, Xb, V6 in the Tacoma and the 5.7L V8 in the Tundra.
It make sense if for some reason Lexus don't want to offer a blower from the factory, they offer it as a dealer install kit after sales.

A possibility of a supercharger was mentioned at the end of this review:

Nice, according to the Toyota website, the supercharged 2GR-FSE engine makes 360hp/367ft-lb torque.

Wow...so put a cold-air intake, exhaust and that supercharged engine in the F-Sport...should sound really good! All that with 19/20" wheels, larger brakes, better springs and shocks...probably means we will never get a GS-F, depending on how well the F-Sport sells.

this kinda makes me exited!!! but im not counting on it...lord knows what lexus will decide to do and with their conservative history im not sure they will leap for something like this...i just hope they dont make the F-model a supercharged 6...
