Car and Driver on GS350 and F-Sport - November Issue

Car and Driver in their Nov issue did a quick page long write up on two versions they had a chance to test drive: GS350 and GS F-Sport.
Impressions are similar to other you have seen, but they have share some good insides on GS F-Sport
"Compared with the standard GS, the F-Sport has stiffer springs; thicker antiroll bars; firmer adaptive shocks; larger, two-piece front break rotors; four-wheel steerings; a variable-ratio steering rack; and 19-inch wheels with stagged-size, high performance summer tires (235/40 in front and 265/35 in back)."
Four wheels steering was a big suprise to me. Even though F-Sport sounds better, tire selection is low and all tires avaible for the size have a short life rating. Looks like Base GS350 will have to work.
"standard GS350 proved to be less high-strung than the F-sport. The GS350's tuning is softer, and the fixed-ratio steering is slower. Even in its basic state of tune, however, the new GS demonstarte quick responses and a playfulness that the last GS couldn't match. Lexus is moving the GS into territory once occupied by the BMW 5-series."

Very encouraging write-up & seemed honest. They even jabbed BMW for moving the 5 series toward Lexus while Lexus moved toward old BMW with this new GS.
Thanks for sharing.
